Back in MY day...
I was a little pipsqueak and the world revolved around me. I didnt have to worry about anything but waking up, going to school, and playing.

*sniff* I miss my childhood... ;_;

I don't remember a time like this. I'm not sure if I should consider you a lucky sod or be glad that I was never of that level of ignorance.

Back in MY day... we had two major gaming companies and they were both Japanese. And were strictly gaming companies. None of this "video game divisions" crap we have nowadays. Just bona fide gaming. Ah yes, the good ol' days.

And one started as a toy company to begin with.

Back in the day, we had no fancy Shark Jumping Season Finale's, and we also had radio shows to boot. (You know, those audio drama tracks Japan gets away with) I miss them.

Workshop/DA/YT/Photobucket なにかんがえてるの!?
So its about ass now huh? EVEN THE ASS HAS 'EXCEEDED'!

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Back in my day, in the Ice Age, I walked to school in fifteen feet of snow, uphill, both ways,
My russian sophomore year Math teacher told us something similar once. With her accent.
It was hillarious.

I don't remember a time like this. I'm not sure if I should consider you a lucky sod or be glad that I was never of that level of ignorance.
I had a great childhood. 90's were great, man. Grew up on Kids WB and PS1. (and Gameboy Color)
And that was BEFORE the huge influx of anime. It was just Pokemon, and later on around the 5th grade, Yugioh.

My first game ever was Grand Tour Racing '98 for the PS1. I still play it occasionally.
In fact- imma go play it right now, brb...

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Back in my day, Donkey Kong Country had underwater levels.

Courage is the Magic that turns Dreams into Reality.

I learned that all things explode in slowmotion if you punch them hard enough.

You may have to be on fire for that to happen, though.

Back in my day, 3D sonic games were not 3/4ths 2D sections. Yeah, that's putting me off Colors, but I'm still willing to give it a chance.

Yeah, but then again back in your day 3D Sonic games were a lot better.

Back in my day, shows didin't actually NEED to be a clone of another show to be funny, and games were always nintendo hard.

Hell, I had trouble with SA1 on my dreamcast on my first run! Now I can beat the game without a problem. I think that's the problem with games today, they are just almost too linear to my tastes. :\

There are a few "nightmare difficulty" games that I can name too. Insector X was one of 'em.. or I sucked back then, I might need to replay it now that I know of an exploitable weakness in the second stage's boss.

Want a hard game? Play LOZ: Spirit Tracks, three hearts. That was tough.

Back in my day, I was scared of Legend of Zelda games. No kidding.

That fear is kind of odd. To each their own. I used to be afraid of Overdrive Ostrich in MMX2. I still get a little edgy when I play the game today.

Back in my day you would have to call game companies for hints and pay them instead of looking up everything online.

Back in my day, FPS were hardcore and you needed more than chest-high walls to be good at it.
