I think we all had these moments once in a while. When people use phones to actually speak to them. When people got up to change the channel, When people have to settle for dirt for dinner.

This is not supposed to be a bash on the new generation. It's just... well... did you ever had these moments.

It seems that the new generation of young gamers(less than 14) are more interested in mature games, wrestling games, and hip, trendy stuff. When I show them a gameplay of KOFXI for PS2, they looked at it in disgust and called if fakey and didn't like the sprites.

Is it me or do kids of this generation show no respect of classic gaming?

Flame

Lol, I say "Back in my day" all the time. Its a bad habit. My friend gets angry at me because were the same age and I talk and act as if I were like 80 years old. XD

Also, it depends on the person i guess. Some respect it, others are too busy with their Halo and Gears of War and space marines to care. And anything else is crap to them. :B

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Black Mage J

Them Youngsters and their MaWa 2. They know nothing of beat-em ups like Scott Pilgrim.

Well, back in the day Controllers only had 6 Buttons and games were usually more simple (If more Vague, due to programming).

Doesn't mean I can't adapt. I'm not like my parents who stopped playing fun games in '94 to start playing those Casual games.

Sakura Leic

Back in my day the Gameboy only had 4 buttons.

Back in my day we would get games for free with our consoles that weren't crappy budget titles, tech demos, or Demo Discs.

Nowadays we get a few little trials to make you pay to play the full game.

Mirby

Back in my day, difficulty settings and sound tests came standard with most games!
