Courage is the Magic that turns Dreams into Reality.

I learned that all things explode in slowmotion if you punch them hard enough.

You may have to be on fire for that to happen, though.

Back in my day, a large popcorn at the movies was $3.50.  Nowadays, I'm lucky to pay that much for a box of Milk Duds.  How does one get around this price increase, you ask?  Simple.  Buy a large tote bag and smuggle in your goodies.

It works for Baseball games too!

Back in my day, we took notes by hand with a pencil and a spiral-bound notebook.  I still take notes by hand, with a pen, in a notebook.  And our libraries used card catalogs and the Dewey Decimal System.

Back in my day which is not a lot to cover criteria but I got to say, they started putting videogames on DVD and 3D Sonic games were actually good.

Back in my day, at least for a limited time, gas was $1.99 a gallon for unleaded.

Can it, Sonic Adventure sucked.

AND THAT PUTS 3/4THS OF RPM ON THE BAN BUTTON.

It's simple, really. They text notes on their phones. *sniped*

Back in my day, the most plot a video game needed was "You're the hero, kill the big bad without dying."

Back then, when I needed info on a game or cartoon character, I usually wound up in a fansite with "facts" about the character. There was no Wiki back then (at least, that I know of at the time).

And on top of that, game systems were barely fragile like the wimpy DS Lite is. It may be sturdy, yes, but it actually has some weakspots. There were some reports of it's contents would melt on contact with fire, too.

Along with that, we had to use our imagination to develop our tall tales, with the occasion of twisting other's reports to make a better story.

That's also the time when we had no computers and had to guess what the dinosaurs looked like with our brains and had to guess where each bone went and what time period was it from.

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Back in my day, kid's shows weren't overly censored. They were awesome and informative, like The Magic School Bus.

Also, Mr. Popo was black, not blue.

Back in my day, female characters that were strong-willed and not just pretty objects weren't stereotypes. (I am still yet to see a female character that's an extreme pervert)

It had a pretty popular thread up until a day or two ago. I'm amazed you missed it.

Back in my day, Regis still used to do Who wants to be a Millionaire. And it was awesome.

Back in my day, only the well-to-do had a satellite dish, and it was a cumbersome behemoth in the backyard.  It would rotate when one changed channels, and the remote was enormous.  Quite the ostentatious purchase if one was lucky to find a local dealer.

Back in the day, I had nothin' to worry about whenever made a joke, now people can't seem to find a fukkin' sense of humor anymore in Florida, a place that's supposed to be "the happiest state in the US". [tornado fang] that, wait until you see it's schools and overappreciated teachers and teacher's pets.

Back in MY day...
I was a little pipsqueak and the world revolved around me. I didnt have to worry about anything but waking up, going to school, and playing.

*sniff* I miss my childhood... ;_;

Back in my day, in the Ice Age, I walked to school in fifteen feet of snow, uphill, both ways, for thousands and thousands of miles in a blizzard!  And when I got there, all the way in Africa, the school was closed to begin with!  But since it was the Ice Age, also known as the Dark Ages, there weren't no radios back then, so no one could tell us!
