I checked my nearest toys r us just now to see what they had. Far too late for the juicy stuff. But they had a bazillion Bowser Jr's and a healthy amount of ZSS.

I checked the Gamestop nearby and they had like 7 Retro 3 packs. I picked one up.

So I promised myself I wouldn't care about any further Amiibo until either Yarn Yoshi or Mewtwo were out.

I lied.  Just ordered ZSS.  WalMart still has 'em ship-to-store.

Kinda bummed that the new Fire Emblem is using FE character Amiibos as DLC (again) considering the fact that Nintendo outright refuses to get them out there in decent supply.  Ah well, I have Ike and Lucina, that'll have to be enough.  I'm not interested in fighting resellers for Marth and Robin.

Also got the Viridi Mii Fighter costume.  Looks very well detailed, and it is pretty funny beating people with her staff.

Best Buy restock is real.

Went in today and saw EVERYTHING, Shulk, Lucario & Greninja were all on a table in the front (Only 2 Shulk left but lots of Lucario and Greninja, strange considering both have not been actually sold in the area since the closest Toys R' Us is 2 hours out. Little Mac, Captain Falcon, Fox, Marth, Dark Pit, ZSS, Olimar and Charizard were all chilling in the back with their common friends Zelda, Pikachu and Bowser.

Truly a sight to behold, shame I own them all already.

You can Preorder Falco's amiibo, he's exclusive to Best Buy and is only available for in-store pickup.

Plus he comes out a week before Black Friday.

In addition Villager restock and Mii Fighters are TRU exclusive (In addition to Mega Yarn Yoshi but he's not Smash).

Went to TRU today to take advantage of the amiibo sale; walked away with a pink Yarn Yoshi (one of my little sisters got two Smash amiibos).

I was surprised to see how many Foxes they had (around eight); this is also the first time I've seen Fox in-store.

Dunno if this is a company-wide thing or just my location, but TRU's also only doing amiibo pre-orders online now, for whatever reason.

We went to TRU today to grab some Mii-packs and take advantage of their timed "get a normal amiibo for $10 too" deal. I was worried that, since we didn't get there right before opening, there'd only be a handful of Miis left, if even that.

NOT SO. There were many Mii-packs available in at least three different parts of the gaming area. Dunno if those were leftovers from the initial shipment or if there just weren't many people coming in today, but either way, I got a Mii-pack (and a Bowser Jr., thus completing Wave 6) for me Christmas stash, and my little sisters both got Shulk (only one of my sisters wanted the Mii-pack).

I'm secretly hoping for Ice Climbers, just to make my amiibo collection line up perfectly, haha.

I was thinking of potential third party characters, and I could actually kinda see Cloud making the cut, given his legacy on JRPGs.

Its a bit silly, but i doubt he's the only smash ballot character. Right?

I was banking on Shovel Knight too. The fact he already has an amiibo was too much of a sign for me to ignore.
