Moving on the K-On. Wish Angel Beats's anime went into more detail on everyone's deaths, I was too eager to see what happened to TK.

I finished OPM last night. I was... Honestly a little disappointed by the ending. It felt anticlimactic? And I don't mean the fight, because that's intended. I feel like the narrative ended a bit too abruptly.

I agree. I suppose that's the consequence of ending a series when the manga/web-comic didn't even finish.

The Deep Sea King arc was my favorite. Mumen Rider's speech and Saitama giving credit to the others Heroes, at the cost of people viewing him as a fraud. That was the peak of OPM, for me.

[spoiler]Yes Madoka ascended and became Godoka.  She basically rewrote the universe so Magical Girls don't become Witches when they die but rather go to a Magical Girl Nirvana.

As for Homura she inherited Madoka's bow, as well as one of Madoka's ribbons which doesn't really do anything.[/spoiler]

Now go watch Rebellion to see the aftermath of that and more mindfucks.

3, but the first 2 retells the anime with some edited scenes and stuff so it's like Dragon Ball Super in reverse.  The 3rd is the continuation after the ending.

This. It felt like there should have been at least another episode or two. I understand that they ran out of material, but couldn't the writers have just made something up to give the series closure? I'm actually hoping that since the series is so popular, that we'll get a second season.

Just finished The Ambition of Oda Nobuna and Daphne in the Brilliant Blue. Really enjoyed both of 'em.

As for what's next, I'm torn between Bamboo Blade, Divergence Eve and A Certain Scientific Railgun.

Railgun's manga is better. The anime isn't bad but it's way further behind the manga.

The animation is [tornado fang]ing HYPE. It's almost like it was done by ufotable, and ironically, this music is exactly the type they would have chosen.

It does, for the most part. Couple of dips here and there but nothing that completely derails the series.

Finished the first season of Stand Alone Complex and I'm currently six episodes into the second.

The season finale had more OOOOHHH SHIIIIIIIT moments for me than any anime I've watched thus far. The animation really took a step up in Season 2 as well. I'm really impressed. Sure it's not the prettiest, shiniest anime out there like some of those KyoAni productions but there's so much fine detail (people in the background making realistic actions and movements, cars pulling out behind people, barely noticeable realistic lens flares from lights) it's actually really immersive to watch, and I can't honestly say immersive is the word I'd use for any other series I've seen.

All in all I'm still hooked. Probably thinking about watching Arise after this.

I'm immersed in most Ghibli films.

As far as series go, Monster was immersive as hell.
