That sad part is that it had potential. I liked the idea behind the mobile suits, the Destiny in particular. It's just... man.

So I finally got to watching the first 5 episodes of KLK.

I have to admit, there was no doubt I was going to enjoy it. I mean I did like PSG and this is the same guys for the most part. But yeah, its fun. Stupid yes, oh so stupid, but I like stupid.

Gotta say most of my enjoyment comes from Ryuko's Seiyuu. She's just got a good voice.

I'm not gonna be some ultra-obsessive fanboy. I'll probably rewatch it when the dub comes out and then I'll be done. Trust me, I'm not like that anymore.

I considered a rewatch of Madoka dubbed. Then I heard the "RAIS AN SHIEN!" from the trailer.

It was instant reversal.

And as quickly as I started it, I've finished Kill La Kill.

Not gonna lie, it was stupid as [parasitic bomb]. But it was fun stupid. The plot was dumb, the costumes were embarrassing, the tone shifted from "Girl beats up students at school" to "Clothing is made from alien beings who want to make the earth explode" rather suddenly, and the animation was subpar most of the time.

Soundtrack was nice, voice acting was enjoyable, at least it had that going for it.

Probably not something I'd rewatch anytime soon. And definitely not as good as people hyped it up to be, but it wasn't bad, just not "OMG GREATEST EVER".

Kind of, but FLCL's far better. FLCL's the kind of Anime I purchase. KLK's the kind of Anime I put on my best pirate hat for. But that might just have to do with FLCL getting a release with a modest price and KLK being released by the king of "I don't know what country I'm in!" Aniplex.

Yeah, probably. I'm not sure though, I think the reaction towards the show is kinda mixed.

Did you watch it subbed or dubbed? Because I love Haruko's seiyuu; her voice is quirky and awesome.

After catching up on some live action shows, I can finally put that aside and put my arse on anime once again @_@

Kill la Kill for now.  Can't say what hasn't been said, so yeah, really enjoying it<3 I really like its style of humour~

Well...everything really. The music was good, but it really just annoyed the hell out of me. I didn't like any of the characters, the plot (what little of it there was) was pretty awful. Just not my cup of tea.

As much as I like FLCL, I do understand where you're coming from.  Naota is a brat, Haruko is a selfish megalomatic [sonic slicer], Mamimi is definitely insane, and most of the side characters are annoying except for the mayor's daughter and Naota's dad since he shows how Haruko will do anything to get what she wants, and poor eyebrows is the most desperate man ever.

I still like these characters though, Haruko is actually my favorite for being bat [parasitic bomb] crazy and manipulative in every step of the way along with the Mayor's daughter, and Mamimi was pretty funny before she went off the deepend after Naoto rejected her.  And I did like the plot and how these characters fit into it, again it's the side characters I don't like particularly Naota's classmates for being pervs, the grandpa for not contributing anything besides being a perv and his favoritism of Naota's older brother, and the teacher while hilarious is a real dumbass.
