A 4 out of 10 is still far too good for this series. I intially gave it a 2/10, but now that I think about it, it's not even worth that.

I only watched like 4 episodes. Don't beat me down yet. I am a pretty lax rater. My lowest ever are Paranoia Agent with 4/10 (Couldn't even finish it) and Rizelmine with 5/10, but I barely lasted through that. Compared to the He is My Master is not bad.

Or maybe you just take things too seriously. If you watch He Is My Master with an open mind, while not good, it's a decent comedy to waste your time on. But since most of you here have sticks way too far up who knows where, you tend to demonize whatever stuff that doesn't strike your fancy.

Well, I usually approach every anime I watch with an open mind, otherwise I wouldn't watch it. But still, I had serious problems with the series. It's not the ecchi stuff I had issues with (though nowadays I think animes should only have minor ecchi (and not have the entire series wrapped around it) or no ecchi althougher, as nobody likes cock-teases (though I don't recall I ever got any hard-ons from ecchi series). Make it a hentai from the start or simply stop it), but more like the entire story. Although I initially had a few laughs from watching it, the entire comedy and plot seemed to have been repeating itself over and over again in a non-funny way. Mitsuki's "contests" for example weren't funny anymore after one or two times, not to mention that I didn't get the feeling that the story or characters actually went somewhere. There was no real development.

When I was finally done with the series (I think I watched it as a whole in one day), I couldn't find any reason anymore as for why I even wanted to watch this series, it felt so completely pointless. I still want the time I spend on this series back.

Thats what I was thinking. Its a time waster, but for us, I guess, its a good time waster.

Vexille (It's an ok 3D film), Penguin Musume Heart (it's random, I like random), Cosprayers (Man... It's slow... I prefered the DVD eps), The Girl who Leapt Through Time (This, was awesome).
And of course my weekly watches of Yu-Gi-Oh!, Casshern Sins, Toradora!, Skip Beat!, Digimon Savers, Pokemon D/P, Bakugan Battle Brawlers, Battle B-Daman Fire Spirits, reruns of Hell Girl, Code Geass Season one, Gundam 00 Season one...

Jesus Christ, I just finished watching the second season of Amaenaideyo (including the 13th episode/OVA) and god damn was it a disappointment.
