I couldn't go through the whole thing, but does anyone here watch Saint Seiya?

My brother decided that I'm all cool and deserving and gave me an early Christmas gift...



That's Deathmask, the Saint of Cancer in Saint Seiya. Cancer as in the zodiac sign, not the disease, although he's pretty much the only character in the series who's always been pure evil.

You actually have to set the whole thing, one piece at a time, like a complex Lego model. There's even a manual. Most armor pieces are made of metal. Feels pretty heavy in the end.

Still, Casshern Sins. As well as, Darker than BLACK, which is really catching my attention. Music, story and action are all fantastic so far.

Decided to finally start watching Genshiken. I'm currently midway through episode two, and the series appears to be enjoyable at least. After I run by a few more episodes I'll decide if I should finish watching it or not.

ever since ADV lost 80% of its catalog, Anime Network hasn't had much to speak of as of late. well last week they put up a few of their older shows that i haven't seen n a while. Nuku Nuku, This Ugly and Beautiful World, Ghosts at School. but the one show i'm most happy about is Louie the Rune Soldier. saw that show when i first got Anime Network about three years ago, and haven't seen it again until now. it's a really funny show. kinda like Slayers, except more sexually charged, and the big doofus is a magician/street brawler instead of a swordsman.

Tenchi Universe.

OVA is for those who want the story condensed and lotsa lulz.

Universe is for those who like it drawn out, those who savor each moment of a series, and all the little nuances of life. It's not a sitcom 24/7, y'know. I just finished watching episode....uh....9. The one with the snow, sake, and Tenchi's mom. Beautiful ep.

It's... interesting to say the least... Ieyasu with that huge... growth...

Just finished watching episode 3 of Genshiken. While the series is pretty good, it feels a bit too slow for my tastes and has me going away from and back to it regularly, and I can't sit like I do with other series and just watch several episodes in a single sitting. But I'll do my best to finish it, as I have a shitload of other stuff laying around in my hard drives waiting to be watched.

First up, Smash Hit!, an anime about the making of another anime, in this case, the making of Cosprayers (I watched this already).
Being made by the same company (M.O.E), Smash Hit! is a lot better to watch than Cosprayers, imo.

Next up, Love Love, an alternate setting of Smash Hit!.

Being made by the same company (M.O.E), Smash Hit! is a lot better to watch than Cosprayers, imo.

Next up, Love Love, an alternate setting of Smash Hit!.

All three are basically retellings of one another. Cosprayers is the actual series being filmed (quite crappy, but enjoyable the first time, and the first time alone); Smash Hit! is the story from the point of view of the series producer, and Love Love! is the story from the point of view of the series actresses and their relationship to the series writer and promo cameraboy.
