Wasn't me. I've never played the game online yet. And I bet the characters he used weren't my type.

See, two strikes already. I haven't quite learned Saki yet, and you'll never see me playing as one of the big guys.

They aren't, it doesn't make sense at all to ban what was considered the worst character in the last game and another one that was considered decent at best, they're only overpowered against people that suck.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

Those little bits of lag are not helping.

Well I don't know if it was laggy on your end, but man those little quick bits of lag [tornado fang]'d me up.  Either way, good matches.

Yeah my controls were lagged about a second and a half usually. Some really tight matches though!

I'll get better someday, just you wait.

Haha, thanks. You're good too. You devastated me on a few. I really need to learn how to cope with lag though. There are many combos and openings I'm missing because of it. Offline is so much easier to play.

Great rounds  RDW.
Honestly I actually found myself surprisingly able with Ryu despite never having touched him till then. That air combo was COMPLETELY by coincidence.
On T. Blade... Back to the training room. XD

Haha, yeah you did some nice combos with him. Sometimes it just takes a switch up to find your groove. Keeps your game fresh too, and unpredictable.

I got the game yesterday and I managed to unlock Zero today. I'm hopin' to unlock the others over the weekend, but I'm having some trouble beat Yami, and I don't want to be reduced to setting the game to easy mode just to unlock the characters. Part of the problem is when he spams his freakin' health absorbing move which is unblockable in the first form, and then the most damaging move in the third form is a grabbing attack, which can't be blocked and without enough sp, you can't use a Mega Crush to break out of. Any particular regular character that's effective against Yami without having to switch so much?

Frank's kinda odd to use, since most of his attacks are using the funky combination that's hard to register just right. The Onimusha guy's pretty good, I think I've managed to use his rising attack move just right to start an air combo (now I just have to master it then go through with an actual combo ><)

Use Zero and spam Hadangeki, Charge busters, and Rekkouha. (Sougenbu is a plus) Kills all 3 forms easy. then once Yami 3 is a few hits away from death, switch out and have the second character KO him.

Awesome.

Any combo tips or advice in general for Zero or Onimusha guy?

I dont really use Soki. He's kinda slow and boring. only combo tips for Zero are what i mentioned. Dont combo Yami, or you WILL be killed. for the rest of the fights, meh, whatever works best for you.

Well, I'm getting surprisingly better at this game now; I've decided to run Megaman/V. Joe as my main team.  Megaman's a great zoning character, and can do some nice weapon switch combos when he gets close to you.  I considered using Zero, but he has paper-thin defense.  Once you manage to take Zero's momentum from him, he's toast, as it only takes a few good combos to end him.

Use Zero and spam Hadangeki, Charge busters, and Rekkouha. (Sougenbu is a plus) Kills all 3 forms easy. then once Yami 3 is a few hits away from death, switch out and have the second character KO him.

I've actually found Megaman to be the overall best Yami killer in the game.  The Machine Buster is a great technique in it's normal and super form, the latter of which you can charge your buster during it.  The charge shot itself knocks off about nearly of third of Yami's health per shot.  If you use Zero on him, you can use Hienkyaku (medium) to go right through him.  It certainly saves you the trouble of trying to jump/dash over him.  XD
