Eh, I timeskipp'd one of my characters and made several portrait.  

Might use this for an audio drama.

Basically, this is what happened to Shinobu when the others were seperated. She has to move statues around, dispite her build.

She's also a maid and the emperor's chew toy. If you get what I mean.

Forshadowing. In other news, Oddball Quest after 21 issues, which feels like an achivement for me, I might decide to take a break after that PSA from the comic. Don't worry, this will fill ya up while I come up with a proper flow for the captive scenario, since I have no clue who's gonna make the escape first.

It's purpose is to give the character a general idea. Last ref was a huge, unorganized mess. I'll eventually update it, he still has those properties.  

Behold! My first Audiacity splicing (sorry I used Keeevvviiinn's Necro Man stage theme for a few bits though)! With this I shall make this a music refrence for my next project: A non-spliced version of the song!

This guy was done with three colors, and the eyes were meant to be slashing effects.. but, look how that turned out.

I noticed plenty of errors in this individual, so I compared it to the official X sprite, my Gutsman work (everyone seems to like it), and Zan's Cinnamon. There I noticed plenty of problems:

A) She was slightly overdetailed, that had to be done.

B) Poportions seemed to be off, so I fixed that.

C) Pallete needed to be corrected and simplified.

With these errors hopefully fixed I think I've done a good job here fine-tuning this one. I might sheet it eventually.

Currently only three maps are done, so far the project is doing well. Right now I am using sample graphics from the RTP to give a sense of progression. Most of the enemies will be hand-drawn, so don't expect a screenshot in-battle anytime soon.

The music has been provided by a certain Mexican Sunflower, so you'll get music goodness when you reach the endboss of the maze!

Posted on: August 18, 2010, 01:05:24 AMMost of the first half of the story and basic OST/SFX stuff is ready for the demo, all I need are graphical replacements and such before I can convert the first half of the demo into actual, playable data. I warn you, it's dialogue heavy though. Just to give you an idea:

- People are vanashing
- Everyone is driven mad by imported goods
- Monsters are appearing everywhere
- Pure Hearts are being used as.. a source of energy? And monsters are fighting over it? Humanity is screwed.

Humanity is in trouble.. again, and it's up to you to save it. Your king has been tainted by the imported goods, so you decide to investigate, along the way you'll meet a ninja who's not really a ninja at all, which leads into the forbidden forest. You remember the rumors of people vanashing there, and somehow it might relate to a dream you had last night.. man this story's a mess, and it's up to you to put it in the proper order! Take control of four heroes, and fight your way though to solve each mystery! And good luck.

It's me doing business as usual in Paint. Net. Note that he has no fingers, and he ain't shaded, I hate drawing fingers, they are a pain to keep consistant. same with shading and it's lightsource.
