I finally got Pokemon Alpha Sapphire.
Slowpoke is my favourite pokeman HOW DID YOU KNOW

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

I got all worked up over a new job again so I think I'm going to make use of that free counselling as a full-time student for once.

I think I have a sore throat of some sort.

That's how my cold started.

My question is how the hell did I spread it to you?

You better not be crawling in my bedroom at night looking for my cake. It's in the kitchen. I don't keep cake in my bedroom.

Jesus, Sakura. Get your [parasitic bomb] together.

You could have said 50 Shades of [tornado fang]'d up, thus pledging allegiance to the 50 Shades of Grey franchise

I'm afraid you've lost your chance

[spoiler]Wow it mentally pained me to search for that video, I'm not even kidding.[/spoiler]

I saw Pan Pizza from Rebel Taxi review it. Mediocrity at its worst.

I'm just gonna repeat what I wrote on io9.

Movies like this are why I appreciate Speed Racer so very very much. Is it a well written of a movie? Not at all. BUT IT’S FUN!! It’s a living, breathing, live action version of the cartoon, with all the ridiculous driving, flashy effects, and car-fu that went along with.

That happened, and I loved every minute of it. If you’re going to pander to our nostalgia, have the common [tornado fang]ing courtesy to give a [parasitic bomb] about the source material.

I had no idea that even existed...

Now I need to watch it.

Speed Racer's bright neon colours hurt my eyes more than anything-but yeah it was a pretty accurate adaptation, can't fault the movie for that. I didn't really hate or like that movie personally, it was a fun hour or so of mindless entertainment if I remember it right; just not something I'd bother watching again.

I actually remembered it being very heavily advertised back in the day, but since Speed Racer was before my time, and I didn't really care about it anyway, I didn't go see it.

It's pretty much a cult hit now, which is what I thought it would be when it was released.

I love the movie because they just went balls to the walls insane on the driving & visuals. For me, it's like the opposite of Mad Max: Fury Road in that regard. Fury Road went with real, practical, awesome, beautiful effects and stuntwork, which I love. Speed Racer did the opposite and used CGI to create a visual, cartoony, CGI acid trip. I appreciate and love this a lot more than say your basic usage of CGI in a lot of action movies. If you're going to use CGI, have fun and go nuts with it. That's what the Wachowskis did.

Speed racer definitely looked like a proper live action version of the cartoon- thats more than I can say for movies like transformers.  :|
