"What's wrong with Mr. Tablet?" Sakura raised an eyebrow as she headed out the room.

"Ugh finally we don't have to listen to that arse drone on like that for the moment." Calien sighed.

The group return to the main room leaving the archives behind for now.

They find the final door of the four sub rooms open--where the shard is claimed to be. Aya pauses and closes her eyes. "It's here." She confirms feeling it's swirling mana now filling the room. "Wait--there is something inside there too." Aya suddenly adds.

"There's no point in loitering around when we've come this far." Salem responded.

Pema nodded. "That's right. We can handle whatever comes our way."

"I think we're all ready to face to final sub room, Aya." He stated.

Pema twirled the staff and spoke dramatically into the top of it like a microphone. "Alllrighty, Ms. Aya! Show us what's behind Door number four!"

Aya nods smiling slightly at Pema's enthusiasm "Right-everyone fall me what ever is in there will likely not want to us to take it's source of food."

Leading the party inside through the hall they come across whats--left of a room, the crash from the shard decimated the are leaving little hint to what it was before. The Shard floats at the center of the room-it is oddly quiet inside however with no sign of any monster or beast.

"It's eerily quiet and creepy in here. I don't like it..." Pema kept an attentive eye on her surroundings.

"Keep your distance from the shard and stay sharp. There's no telling what's going to happen." Salem spoke quietly.

Glancing back toward whence they came, the Professor took a few careful steps toward the center of the room and the shard. Curious, he dug through his bag and produced the vial of slime that he had collected earlier. Holding it out, he studied it to see if it reacted within close proximity of the shard.

As the professor surveyed the area around the floating shard the debris in the area began to shudder and then float off the ground themselves, Aya is just barely able to grab the Professor and jump out the way as the rocks and debris closed around the shard using it as a core to form some sort of Rock Golem.

"I was worried this would happen, with it's power unchecked this shard is imbuing mana into everything even the stone!" Aya comments drawing her goddess blade.

"This is the earth elemental fragment of the crystal---it must be passively injecting life into the earth--literally!" Aya comments as the Titan begins swinging at the closest party members--while rocks cover over the Shard protecting it's new core.

((Did I specify what element it was before? If so I apologize I meant Earth.

If not the shards kinda fell in random spots--their presence kinda makes things go out of whack since they were never meant to be out in the open like this in pieces.))

((Well the Blizzard was caused by Albertus' creations remember, the crystal certainly didn't help the weather patterns here through the disturbance in the mana however.))

(I was also convinced that the blizzard was caused by Blizzard and Freeze. I'm also fairly certain we were around a high mountain peak area, where snow is likely to occur, IIRC.)
