Your poor, suffering Pikachu needs a break.  Mewtwo's still around, albeit asleep or too groggy to care, so your Pikachu could always go curl up with him and share his woes.  Which would make for a segue to get Wily outside of his room.

For the sake of poor Pika, I may have Mewtwo do some investigating later on.  After his nap, of course.  And preferably before anyone returns.  Maybe even have him pull out his computer and do some stuff with it? 

Though, having evil Wily happen upon Mewtwo's snooping might make for some interesting developments...
