I get so amused with characterizing Pokemon in both RPs, Zekrom is fun to do.

Indeed.  I'm having loads of fun with Giovanni, particularly detailing the more mundane aspects of his day.  Meetings, insurance adjusters, taxi drivers, his alcoholism...  The less-exciting parts of his life are so much fun to write because this stuff is rarely, if ever, explored.

That is true, I guess it's people people think it's boring, at least according to TvTropes.  However the way you do it is very interesting.

The secret is to describe the emotional response.  We all deal with boring stuff, and characters become easier to relate to when they deal with the same stuff, particularly if they show emotion and muse about it.  It's like slice-of-life comedy routines; it's funny because it's true.
