So, I had a thought. Instead of kicking Quickie while she's down, since Saffron Sushi being torched would ruin her financially, and due to Team Rocket, she needs to move, I thought that perhaps Mewtwo had been doing stuff in secret, that would keep them financially well-off. Maybe he's been developing proprietary software, using his own programming language. Thus, they would be receiving some income from Fujisoft programs.
Of course, Quickie wouldn't be entirely aware of this, as what Mewtwo does on his custom-built computer is his business. And since it's been established that he can't read well, or at all, then he'd have developed his own GUI from his own programming language. Thus, Quickie might have trouble understanding it.
I'm pulling Mewtwo's computer knowledge from MSB. He built all of that himself. All of it. All the electronics on New Island, all of the equipment, his own freakin' lab... That clone has some serious intelligence, so why would he put all of that aside just to make sushi? He'd be doing his little projects on the side. Who knows? Maybe a number of civilian markets and consumers use Fujisoft products.
