The recent episodes just have a lot of... sameyness.

They have this very sterile look to them. Everything's gotten, as a previous episode joked about Star Trek, so very tired.

I mostly like the older cartoony style animation. There's just more classics, especially in the first 10 seasons, after that it starts to fall off, 16's really where it dropped off the wagon to me personally.

Honestly I think a lot of the more recent Simpsons episodes get a lot more hate than they deserve cause some folks have the early episodes on some pedestal that no new episodes could ever match. And honestly, there are just as many episodes in the early seasons that make me go "meh" as there are in more recent ones.

That's just how I see it though.

For Spongebob, I know I hold Band Geeks on a pedestal. That episode was amazing no matter how many times I watched it.

I don't know if it's my favorite, per se, but it's certainly up there.

Every time I attempt to come back and watch, I'm always disappointed. Hell, seeing the Simpsons & Family Guy is just upsetting.

When I first watched Family Guy, it was from the newer seasons, so I have no idea if the old seasons were better.

I quickly stopped watching it, because it's just so stale and not witty at all.

I want Ice Cream but it's late and there is no ice cream.

The latter is the biggest problem in this scenario!

Sakura Leic

Indeed, I'm drinking orange juice to combat this.

Eh, people say Family Guy was funnier in the older seasons.

But if I ever see that episode where Peter finds out he's of Black Heritage again, I'll [tornado fang]ing break my TV. Season 1 is just AWFUL, or overplayed. Actually, both.

I can enjoy American Dad because when Seth Macfarlane tries he can really make decent comedy, of course comedy is subjective but that's just my personal opinion.

I still watch the Simpsons though, I own at least half of the series by now.

Sakura Leic

I'm just spoiled by Monty Python and Whose Line is it anyway, and Robin Hood Men in Tights because I like that much better than Space Balls.

I doubled up on the tea bags for extra mint.  Nose is still running and I'm still sneezing.

Monty Python is a show like no other!

And while I like Spaceballs more than Robin Hood: Men in Tights, both are priceless.

Sakura Leic

Yeah I think the reason why I don't like Space Balls as much is while the villians are interesting, the protagonists were really lack luster to me.

I still need to see if I can watch Life of Brian and Young Frankenstein someday.

I don't know.
I find that I can enjoy witty comedy, and at the same time, I can enjoy really really stupid dense [parasitic bomb].

Sakura Leic

I can watch Robot Chicken without going "really" every 5 minutes at least.

Oh, you must. Both are timeless!!

And I love Robot Chicken.

Reaperoid

I actually like American Dad more than Family Guy

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

I feel like Arrested Development is a beautiful combination between the two. It's mostly the former, but some instances just make you go, "Um, what?"

Not necessarily in a negative way, though, because I still find myself choking on air.

Yeah at least I won't feel the urge to vomit like that one part of The Meaning of life, why did They make the Autumn Years about that! X(

I mean really detailed Sex Ed I can take.  Guy getting chased by topless women sure why not?  Political issues being made fun of, hey they're still relevent today!  Live Organ Transplant, at least the Galaxy Song was awesome.  Autumn Years I just don't get why they had to make it as disgusting as they did. You know, when you make a rant post, it's usually best to actually explain the rant.

Sakura Leic

Yeah forgot to quote PB's post, but it's the weird Monty Python movie I watched that was weirder than Monty Python usually is.

Oh right, forgot to mention that I went to my cousin's party, earlier. Though, I guess not much of a party, but more of a family get-together. Yep, nothing like meeting a bunch of adults and old folks you don't know, followed by a dance you have absolutely no interest in partaking in.

There was maybe 2 or 3 people there around my age, but they were mostly to themselves.

I'm going to bed.  Just went through the last of one box of Kleenex and I'm working through another, and I can't stop sneezing.  Methinks I may be getting sick.

Either that or my allergies are really kicking my ass.

Mr. Haxwell

I think I wasted a lot of time trying to find a decently cropped out gif of Foxy the Pirate Fox.

So little time left today for me.

Fear me.
