I'm tempted to join TFN, simply because a lot of the conversations seem funny, either in a weird way or sad way.

Then again, I'm not really a huge Star Wars fan. Casual, at best.

Or you could just use a skin cap instead.

I could, as my hair's pretty short, and with some makeup and Spirit Gum, it'd be pretty seamless.  Or, I could shave my head for charity and cosplay, as my hair would grow back in no time.

You could join for the sake of the fanfic forum (there's a non-SW section) and the Community section (their Off The Wall forum for general chatter).  They discuss sports and topics we don't discuss here, like politics!

Sounds interesting. And while I'm not into politics, I'd probably end up contributing on occasion, because I actually learned and retained some of the laws and whatnot from my classes.

As for the fanfics... that could be fun.

Sakura Leic

I could talk about politics on occasion, sports is something I'll pass on though.

Does TFN have a Roleplay section?
It probably does, though I probably wouldn't want to participate in any of them since the 2-3 I do here is enough for me.

Right here.

Last I checked, they use a Wushu-style system with a DM.

Yeah none of the active ones interest me and I really prefer the narrative RP over the Wushu DM RPing style.

Man, that place is jam-packed with things to do. I never really looked around until now.

Also,

Quote
*Kaky stands, motionless, a trickle of sweat trails down the length of his face, he looks up towards Evan, and smiles, he hadn't had a real duel in a long time, holding the smile, he raised his right arm, and with a 'clap', the gleaming hilt of his lightsaber connected with his palm, he pressed in the small red button, and in an instant, a blindig flash of blue, humming plasma was emitted from the tip of the hilt, Kaky took a deep breath, and remained looking at Evan, he slowly opened his mouth and spoke the words;*

I guess this guy never heard of using periods.

Yeah the sheer massiveness of the forums makes me feel nervous, then again this forum has probably been around way longer than RPM anyway I assume, not to mention I also the assume the community is way bigger too.

Considering that there are members with accounts dating back to 1998... yep.

Damn I was only 5 years old then.

Also what the heck is FanForce and why is it split into so many categories, is it like local events or something?

Holy [parasitic bomb] that's a lot of active members.

[tornado fang] you, Phi!

Sakura Leic

Put your name in as Wi-Phi for the punniness of it?

Maybe, unless I somehow think of something else. I could just tell people to call me Phi, for short.

And I know Archetype is taken already; I don't even need to check.

Sakura Leic

I know I shouldn't be surprised, but holy [parasitic bomb] the members list is 10,000 pages long!

Yeah, I'm the same way. I don't know why but the Wushu style comes across as very D&D and that's not something that sounds fun in the least.

That's because it is D&D style RPing, and I honestly prefer to do that live.

Also the name Archetype is indeed taken as you guessed, not that that's a surprise.

Even that's not something I could do live. So you've got me beat there.

If you have a good DM, DnD is a lot of fun.  I've played some fun campaigns.

*waits patiently to see Phi's membership pop up.*

I will stalk you. 8D

I had some experience with it when my 'ex-boyfriend' and a few of my friends did a very short lived War Hammer 40K RP and it was fun while it lasted.  The thing was that was first eventually some people decided to ditch because they were bored, my best friend was expelled from my high school because of [parasitic bomb] grades and other things because of family issues with his dad, and honestly with that jerk graduating the year after it wouldn't have mattered that much anyway since there was no way we could have continued without him.

Its more the issue of my not enjoying spending time with others.

That's probably it.
