So, someone on TFN, a relatively family friendly SW forum, posted spoilered images of an artist's phallic drawings (great artist, style similar to Moebius, will need to check out more of his work).  As much as I liked the artwork, as it's very detailed, I had to report the post.  You can't say certain cuss words there, so, yeah, spoilered NSFW images?  Yeah, no.

So my data plan went over by .004 GB today. All because of poorly worded automated messages that said the monthly cycle ended the 6th.

And now I have to pay $10 for that .004 GB. I didn't even use all of that 1 GB that they are charging for and I'm not going to since I'm at home and the 2GBs resets at midnight and they still want the full charge for it.

It's just $10.  It honestly could be worse.  I had a Verizon bill of $300 once, due to going over the data plan.

I never said I wasn't going to pay it. For now I'm grateful that my parents are footing the phone bill save for any data overages.

I won't have that luxury for much longer so its best to keep on top of this stuff so when it does come down to me paying for my own phone bill it won't get too spendy.

At that point, I'd suggest ditching Verizon and getting something like Metro PCS or StraightTalk.  I use StraightTalk's unlimited plan.  Not bad.

My main issue with Verizon is that they decided that having Unlimited data was a bad thing and discontinued the ability to buy unlimited data plans.

That reminds me of back when Tivo got rid of the ability to buy a lifetime subscription to their service. also a stupid move there.

But yeah, when I move out I'm basically going to cut the cord save for internet. I don't need a home phone or cable, I've got plenty of my own stuff to watch and free TV sites are common enough that I can watch streams of stuff I watch.

I just have an android phone with WiFi and a Tracfone. It's about $20 for 60 minutes and 90 days of service. SMS messages(no media) is 1/3(.33) of a "minute". Most of the phones come with Double or Triple "Minutes For Life", which means any minutes you buy are multiplied(for the "life" of the phone). Service days are never multiplied. If you have the money, the $100 card gives you 365 days of service and 400 minutes.

One of them was some kind of RPG game done in a first-person perspective and you fight some monsters and things like that (maybe it was the King's Field I that we didn't get?), the other was some kind of odd puzzler where you match blocks that forms flags of different countries. Eeh, I might have make ISOs of the discs I have...

Found them out: it was Shadow Tower on issue 2.4 (and it was also made by From Software, so I wasn't too off with my King's Field hunch), and the other was Tsumu on issue 3.2. Thanks.
