I once made ramen noodles without the flavor packet and simply added butter.

Eating that made me nauseous for some reason :/

It had a surprising flavor combination of vanilla and onions, and the flesh had the texture of pudding.  Once you cut it up and get rid of the rind, the smell goes away for the most part.  I ate the entire durian.

Vanilla and onions doesn't... seem like such a bad combination strangely.

The pudding texture is more of a turn off for me though.

The amazing thing is...I find that achievement in appetite somehow....sexy. D:

The downside to the durian was that my dorm smelled really bad for a while.  Thankfully, my roommates were out for the weekend when I had cut that thing up, which I made sure to do by an open window with a fan running.

Reeked of onions and fermented gym socks.

I gave a durian to a villager in AC because of that, actually.
