I finally evolved my Vulix Kit-Kat, I had to use 4 Rare Candies though to get her to level 35.  Only having Ember was murder despite the fact she took on Erika all by herself with just Ember.  Normally I consider Erika a complete pushover, but having Gen 1 mechanics and the fact that her Vileplume has Petal Dance makes it surprisingly challenging.

I was in the Pokemon Tower but got out once I found the last Rare Candy I left to evolve Kit-Kat.  I'm taking on all the Team Rocket missions before continuing any gyms to get my Lapras ASAP since it's at Lv 15.  I left some unfought trainers at Rock Tunnel and the Route before the Underground Passage to Celedon for that purpose.

There's a new Pokemon Bank distribution gift.

From 4 March 2016 to 31 October 2016, players that have paid the annual fee for Pokemon Bank can receive Regirock, Regice AND Registeel with their Hidden Abilities of Sturdy, Ice Body and Light Metal. The three Regis can be transfered to X/Y/OR/AS through the Pokemon Link feature. Just make sure you have received any prior BP/PokeMiles before you can receive the three Regis.

All three Regis are at lvl50, with the following movesets.
Regirock - Explosion, ICE PUNCH, Stone Edge and Hammer Arm
Regice - THUNDERBOLT, Amnesia, Ice Beam and HAIL
Registeel - Iron Head, ROCK SLIDE, GRAVITY, Iron Defense

BOLDED moves are either Move Tutor moves, or TM moves.

God Rock Slide sounds [tornado fang]ing terrifying in the Gen 1 games, holy [parasitic bomb].  Also I'm pretty impressed by the Hypno Sprite in the game, it's pretty darn accurate compared to other Sprites.

I seem to remember Slash being broken as [tornado fang] on certain Pokes back then, too. IIRC, PERSIAN of all things was godlike if it had Slash and some sort of basic elemetal move (Thunderbolt? It's been a while and my memory's a little fuzzy.)

Probably Thunderbolt, but yeah even with my Sandslash, who is pretty slow compared to half my team, it's broken as heck. I've been trying to get Hyper Beam for my Fearow but my god those stupid slots suck in this game.

Also got my Lapras, I decided to teach them Body Slam on Level up since Sing is kind of useless and their Attack and Special are practically even.  They're taking on the Fighting Dojo since I taught them Psychic.
