Me and my friends are discussing what kind of Mega Evolutions we want. One guy said he wants a Mega Snorlax. I replied that since Snorlax took 6 generations to stand up he must be preparing for a Mega Evolution. Seriously everyone go look at all the Snorlax sprites from Gen 1 to Gen 6.

I wonder if Mega Snorlax would just be an even fatter Snorlax. Like, he would just become a perfect sphere with pointy ears poking out.

Also I got something wrong, it seems you can only transfer the Gen 1 Pokemon to Gen 7, not Gen 6. Sorry for the false info there.

In the mean time I'm breeding some Eevees.

I doubt this would happen but I wouldn't be surprised if we get a little bit more info for them tomorrow since it is Pokemon day. Perhaps even the Starters.

Also if they do continue the trend of all the Fire Starters coincidentally being part of the Chinese Zodiac I wonder which one will it be. Bunny? Horse? Goat? Ox? Tiger? Snake?

I'm not remotely hyped since I have absolutely no idea what this Pokemon game will be about. Is it a sequel to X/Y or a new gen or fuckin' what?

The trailer did nothing for me.

It's a New Gen, Pokemon UK confirmed, as well as Pokemon.com, it will be a new region with new Pokemon. Also for a split second you can see a new bird Pokemon in Wire Frame.

I'm honestly a little miffed. It was the most pointless trailer I've ever seen tbh. It's like they had to, HAD TO shill the 20th anniversary as soon as possible before anything was done and yet it's Zelda's 30th and not a [parasitic bomb] was to be given.

Yeah it could have been better, I would have liked to see the new starters at least but hey them's the breaks. At least we know we can transfer the VC Gen 1 Pokemon to Sun and Moon, and they probably will have some special properties and possibly some exclusive hold items like transfering to GSC back in the day. I mean honestly that's pretty ground breaking from a technical stand point, we could probably get VC Gen 2 for the next console with similar capabilities.

But yeah we need more Zelda news.

I gotta agree. One thing that bugged me about the Pokemon Direct was how little was actually said about Sun and Moon. Aside from announcing the titles and a few, very quick looks at development, nothing else was revealed. I wasn't expecting much, but a basic premise would have sufficed. If you pay really close attention to the video, you find out two things: it's a new region and it's tropical. That's kinda it. Maybe it's going to be based on Okinawa?

I'm just curious about the emphasis on vehicles in the concept art, we even have a Fire Truck with a Blastoise on it, but yellow.

Also, I just went on eShop to see how much RBY are... $10. Aren't the other Game Boy titles $5? I could be wrong.

The highest is $6 it seems.

Besides with how [tornado fang]ing huge Pokemon is compared to other GB games, plus the local trading and battling plus the Gen 7 compatibility it's definitely worth the $10. I mean think of the how much hell that must of been to even make that.

I've wasted my time messing around with emulators and Gen 7 is happening? I gotta see the direct to see what I've missed. One part of me is like "awwwww yeaaaaaaaah!!", and another part of me is like "dammit, Nintendo, let me catch up with Gen 5 and 6."

Yeah the direct is only about six minutes long an just shows some concept art but not much else except you can transfer the Gen 1 Pokemon from the VC games into Gen 7 and the games will have 2 Chinese options bringing the language total to 9.

But yeah Sun and Moon confirmed, I want a Moon Exclusive Legendary Wolf so I can name it Moon Moon.

I can believe I have to wait like ten more months now. I know I said earlier that I wanted them to announce a new game, but now I have nothing but hype. And none of my real life friends like Pokemon, so I have no one to fangirl with! AHHHHH!!

This wasn't as much of a trailer as it was a teaser. Just letting people know about RBY on the Virtual Console and that hey, a new game is coming so YAY! Personally I wanted more info on Pokemon GO, but they'll probably have a new Direct later on to delve more into both games. They could also be waiting for E3 to hype both Sun & Moon and the NX and stuff.

Honestly Pokemon games usually come out in the last quarter of the year anyway, with a few oddball exceptions. Just go play through RBY in the meantime so you can have something to Transfer into Gen 7.

I mean there has to be something you can do to occupy your gaming time Pokemon related or not. I mean Bravely Second is coming out in April and there's going to be a 10 hour demo you can play in the eShop soon, I imagine next month but they haven't confirmed the demo date. If you haven't played Bravely Default I highly recommend it, despite having a bit of a drag close to the end.

Not to mention Undertale if you haven't played that, it's also only 10 bucks.
