Eh I figured since I won't use Talonflame and Hawlucha can Fly and is Fighting type I decided eh why not. That and Luchadores. But yeah I'll decide my Water type once we get enough info on Z, Water types are usually the last type I finalize since it's so hard for me to choose for multiple reasons.

I try to make it a rule to use as many Pokemon I've never used before on a Team as possible in every Pokemon Game.

I usually do that, which I did in my Y. I only had Emerald for Hoenn, Pearl and Platinum for Sinnoh, there's no third game for Unova, but my 4 teams there were different because of different regional dexes.

Unless Z has an expanded dex... I really see no other alternatives (One com mon bird that's not Pidgey/Fledgeling, a False Swiper that's not Pancham/Honedge, and a third option).

Beedrill... Doesn't matchup well. Even as Mega.
Mawile is a choice though.
Marowak... Not so much either.

My Z team will have a different starter, but it may end up being more or less the same. May go with an unconventional Fly slave early on.

I usually find changing the Starter results in a drastically different team for me when at least half my members change. Especially if the starter is dual type.

Considering I'm a lackluster trainer, I'll most likely be using the same basic types on my team. I want to change it up at least a little bit and raise up a Medicham, but I'll most likely still have an Abra.
