I think in order for it to work that way it has to be in a Double or Triple Battle and the Pokemon that are out and use the move at the same time power it up.

It was one of those gimmick moves they added in Gen 5 like the Elemental Pledge moves for Double and Triple Battles so I don't recommend it.

Yes, Round is a Double/Triple gimmick.  You need to teach the move and select it with multiple 'mans in a single turn, and within that turn, its power doubles for every use (1st is 60, 2nd is 120, 3rd is 240).



Well, it took a while, but I finally managed to track down a Mild Mewtwo over GTS.  And I swear this isn't intentional, but my ideal battle strategy for him is turning out to involve partnering with Gardevoire.

'course, in the highly unlikely event that anyone has a MODEST Mewtwo to part with, that'd work even better, and I'd have a Deoxys in it for them.  Somehow I wound up with two of them...

So Round is kinda crap.  I'll set a few Pokemon aside so I can exploit it at Le Wow or someplace, but otherwise just let the TM rot.

I was really hoping for a six-mon gang beating, too...

And I should get back to my shiny breeding.  Been taking a break from it for a while.

My Houndoom knows it and I keep it around for weaker opponents, but I planned to replace it eventually.  She's barely mid-level anyway.

Technically Beat Up is the 6 Pokemon Gang up move, but as I said it's really weak.

Personally I like Dark Pulse, Flamethrower and Sludge Bomb with either Nasty Plot or Taunt.

Mine's Naive.  She'll most likely end up being a sweeper, so I'd like to play with moves that are good for sweepers.  Nasty Plot I've been relegating to slower Pokemon, such as my Hypno who are mostly Nasty Plotting sweepers (they have the bulk to stick around while they plot).  I don't think my Houndoom has enough bulk to be a Nasty Plotter.

Yeah the only filler move I can think about for your Houndoom is Torment or Substitute.
