Nah he's more like Contest Pikachu, the writer of the anime said that the reason he didn't want Pipup to evolve was because he felt that his evolutions were ugly and not fit for contests, which I feel is bullshit since I think Empoleon is beautiful.  And Piplup is pretty popular himself, Pikachu is only super popular since he's Ash's Pokemon and the only one who he doesn't leave behind at Oak's lab every season. 

The only Pokemon who didn't get left behind was his Aipom, who was then traded to Dawn, and then given away to master the secrets of Ping Pong Fu.

Mega Diancie's ability has been revealed to be Magic Bounce and judging by the screen shot of the Coro Coro page talking about the Movie Pikachu has been turned to stone.

At least this time the plot seems a bit more relevant to instead of Ash meets Legendary/Person/Pokemon that they want to be the icon of the generation and [parasitic bomb] happens.  Though it's probably still not going to be interesting, the trailers were pretty terrible but then again I'm not really the target audience for this anyway.

Mega Diancie's ability has been revealed to be Magic Bounce and judging by the screen shot of the Coro Coro page talking about the Movie Pikachu has been turned to stone. 

Magic Bounce is a slight improvement over Clear Body but it still needs a recovery move to be of any use. Hopefully it'll be able to learn Recover or Pain Split from the move tutors that should (hopefully) be in ORAS.

What is with all the Magic Bouncers lately anyway? First Sableye, now Diancie...

I should really just use the bonus disk I got for Pokemon Coliseum and get a few Jirachis for everyone.  It'll be tedious though since I have to start a new game of Pokemon Sapphire every time.

Since I accidently put my Poke walker in the washing machine years ago my Jirachi was still in the Poke walker space, I just looked up how to get him back since I never bothered before and now he's back.  All is well.

More info on Mega Diancie and Mega Metagross.

Diancie gets a huge boost in Speed as well as Attack and Special Attack but her defenses get a reduction.

On the other hand Mega Metagross is still Steel/Psychic, gets Tough Claws for his ability, and to top it all off he gets a boost in all of his stats, except HP of course, especially his Speed.   Which means Stephen is going to give me even more trouble since he was the toughest Champion to me.

Also name changes for Pikachu's contest forms which are Pikachu Belle, Pikachu Rock Star, Pikachu Pop Star, Pikachu PhD, and Pikachu Libre.
