Literally the only thing influencing which game I'll use for online/MP play is whether or not you can still customize your player character in the remakes. (I'm betting no.)

Because if I can't tip my black feathered fedora at all the m'ladys I battle, then X is probably going to stay my MP game.

Anyways, I might just get the digital DL of the game so I can have both X and AS available simultaneously.

If it's consistent I think Mawhile will still be Ruby exclusive, wouldn't be surprised if Sableye is still Sapphire exclusive and got a Mega Evolution.  It would be viable since Fairy is super effective against it so it won't be too over powered, then again if it's a counterpart of Mega Mawhile........

Exactly, especially since you can even get your Gen 3 Pokemon up to Gen 6 if you really wanted to.
