Nintendo fixed the network issues so the eShop and stuff stay on but the online itself save for the eShop has been working fine. Must be a Pokemon specific thing.

Or somehow my DS online is screwing up specifically because my iPad wouldn't be able to use Internet if my internet wasn't working.
