Pierce will False Swipe Zapdos and I'll spam Ultra Balls.  I have thirty.  I can spare a few.

Dr. Wily II

Caught, and it took 8 Dusk Balls.
Wasn't too bad.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Serebii has compiled some of the shiny Pokemon in their Pokedex, and I have to say besides maybe Froakie it's pretty dynamic than a few past generations.  I'm looking at you Garchomp.

Well....... At least it's not as bad as face swapping-u-'

Actually that's hilarious.

don't knock the Pokemerge.

EDIT: actually the link you posted is kinda dumb.

Pokefusion is much better.

N-Mario

Anyway.........

Finally caught that freggin Zygarde this time..... First time today, tried with Shedinja, and the rest 5 of my party. Ultimate failure. Used up too many different pokeballs. I finally caught it after 20 something attempts at throwing all those pokeballs. I just decided to restart, and save up on pokeballs.

Second time after a restart, I caught it, came up with a better strategy with Mewtwo. Just kept using Mewtwo's Barrier and Recover, after I hit Zygarde until its HP was in the red. This was to make sure there was enough turns in battle for me to use a timer ball. Switched over to 6 of my other Pokemon, returned to Mewtwo. Then tried Timer Ball once or twice, didn't work. Tried using Luxery Ball, and some regular pokeballs then, still didn't work. Finally, tried one more Timer Ball, finally worked.

At least the last time, I still have a few more different types of pokeballs left over in my bag than I did the first time. But god it's a beast catching legendaries without a Master Ball. >_<

Yea, Dusk Balls, even in caves don't work 100% of the time. I think I tried a dusk ball once on Zygarde, it actually failed that one time.

It's interesting how that some of the pokemon in Amie don't look strait ahead. For example, some like Xerneas, and Charizard look like they're looking a bit right of you.

That one time? Well no [parasitic bomb] its [tornado fang]ing Zygarde it doesn't get caught easily, you gotta throw more balls at it. Dusk Balls work better in the caves than Ultra Balls, Timer Balls, that [parasitic bomb].

N-Mario

Does it really matter how it gets caught? The damage is done anyway. So if you're not going to say anything positive, then GTFO. :P

Dr. Wily II

Wow. Just wow.

Seriously, when a new main series game comes out, learn about ALL the balls properties.

They're trying to help you and you clearly aren't listening to them after they told you dozens of times after you kept complaining.

Yes, it matters. Read the ball descriptions.

N-Mario

Know what..... Just.... FTS..... I'm done here. I'm not posting here anymore. Even after reading all the descriptions, and looking through guides, still hard as [tornado fang], and you still put [parasitic bomb] on me. :P

Did... did you just remove your avatar and signature? What's the point of that?

He pulled the same stunt Joseph did when he left.

Well he came back eventually but that's besides the point.

Good [tornado fang]ing riddance if you can't [tornado fang]ing learn to accept help. Its too hard to see "Dusk Ball works good in dark places." in the description?

Yeah, not gonna miss that.

Quickman

That escalated quickly.

Anyway, I felt like experimenting and against all practical advice, I taught Return to Runaway.  Replaced Psycho Cut with it.  I may replace that later with something else, but for now, he's using that for wild Pokemon excursions.

One of those excursions (and hidden item hunts) took me back outside Santalune.  Somehow, I missed the two preschool trainers out around the hedge mazes.  So, Preschooler Mia, full of confidence, challenges me.  Runaway is currently in the starting position.  So, it was her level dinky Budew versus my level 100 Alakazam.

I say to Runaway, "let's make this mercifully quick," and he uses Return.  Budew goes down like a sack of potatoes and Preschooler Mia's hopes and dreams have been effectively squashed.

I feel like such an evil, evil person for picking on such young trainers, but hey, she challenged me. :P

Reaperoid

So, turns out that all (wild) pokemon which cannot breed (the Undiscovered egg group) are guaranteed 3 IVs.
Given the availability of baby pokemon within the first few routes of XY, they would make amazing male parents when evolved since Marill is Fairy + Water1 groups and Roserade is Fairy + Grass groups. I will have to check if Tyrogues from Friend Safari have 3 or 2 IVs...

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Quickman

I got Carpe Diem the Magikarp (love the nickname!) from the Magikarp conman.  Prior to that, I had gone fishing and caught five Gyarados in a row.  So, Antipathy, my female Hardy Gyarados was traded for Carpe Diem.

Not long after that, I decided to play with one of my Gyarados in Amie, so I dropped Atrocitus in.

Found his happy spot, too.

He likes his tongue rubbed.

Akamaru

Well, that escalated. Whatever though. On the other side, seems like Nintendo or Gamefreak has heard about the hacks and effective shut down all rank battles for time being. Cool that something is being done, maybe?

When was the last time I poked you guys...
