Yeah, it's friggin chump change for a yearly charge. At best, Xbox Live costs $5 a MONTH.

Besides, it's free the first month it's available. So you have plenty of time to transfer everything over and get rid of the app.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

Here, allow me to help put it into perspective for you.

This is what I pay MONTHLY:  Rent, utilities, cellphone, Internet.  They equal to roughly $300 a month.

$300 a month.

THREE HUNDRED DOLLARS

PER MONTH

We'll overlook that I am in a housing program and thus get cheap rent.  But, that's my monthly expense, not counting miscellaneous bills.  I pay that and more per month, every month.

Compare to $5 a year.

Really, a Lincoln per year is nothing.  I repeat: NOTHING

Akamaru

So I was playing around with Wi-Fi battles. What I don't like is the more Pokemon on the field are playing, the more laggy it seems. Oh well.

I'm nearing $5 million... And I already bought the 2 trenchcoats. 8D
Now, I don't really mind. It's expected I guess, but it really surprises me that girls have more clothes options than boys.

When was the last time I poked you guys...

Protoman Blues

I agree. Guys should have more clothing options.

I want a Gray suit with a Red shirt and Yellow tie to go with my Fedora!

Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Quickman

I want hoodies that don't show your midriff.

- As for the upcoming bank, I don't understand why we're going to have to pay an annual fee for a service we're going to use for the rest of our lives. We are already paying for the internet, and the wi-fi we use to go online isn't always free. In some areas there is free wi-fi, but I doubt that for our own home. The reason they give for the fee on their website is just kinda bull.

Because the bank stores Pokemon online and you're paying for that storage space. Considering just how many people will be using the service and how small the fee is, it's very fair.

Seriously we have enough things that accentuate curves, especially the stuff at Snowbelle.

The blue winter coat, though?  Not so much.  I like it, though, it's classy.

Akamaru

I want personally professional items; like a suit, ties like PB mentioned, and maybe something along the lines of canes, I guess?

I know its a very cheap price per year, but still doesn't help for those who are unemployed, or for the little 5-6 year old kids who play this game, that need parent controls. The money is going to go somewhere, and I doubt kids have the money to spend on keeping their pokemon online, rather asking for their parents. Ya know cause their parents are already having to spend on their education, etc. I'm sure there are some parents that could help pay for the yearly fee, and there are some that just won't want to pay a little extra. There are parents that are like that.

Again, just sayin.....

Quickman

Playing with Zardoz in Amie.  I love how the big bad Legendaries get all cuddly in Amie... except for Mewtwo, who maintains his stoic demeanor even when munching on glorious chocolate cupcakes and getting belly rubs.  My Zygarde, though...  Rub him in the right spot and he just exudes love and cuddles.

Most young kids have an allowance.  I know my niece and nephews could very easily afford it.  Five bucks isn't much for anyone.

Akamaru

Ahahaha. If parents are having a hard time paying for a kid's education and stuff over $5, then they shouldn't have bought them a 3/2DS and Pokemon. Same for unemployed. Don't buy expensive game consoles if $5 a year really is too much. While we are at it, the $40 for internet, you can stop paying too...

I really can't wait to bring in the other 'mons from my games and see how they react in Amie. I wonder if you can fit a Wailord.

You can catch Wailmer.  So, catch one, evolve it, and go to town.

*Pets and rubs Zygarde*  Aww, who's a good Eldritch Abomination!  Yes you are!  How about a little rubby on the ol' tum-tum?

You could probably find $5 on the ground over the course of a week, two if you're unlucky.

Seriously, it's nothing.

In addition, if you can't pay the fee one year, they don't delete your Pokemon. Sure you may not be able to access them, but they'll be there when you can pay again.

and again

IT'S FIVE DOLLARS FOR THREE HUNDRED AND SIXTY FIVE DAYS OF ACCESS

As far as I can see, this still hasn't been confirmed yet.

QuoteWhat happens to my Pokémon if the no-charge trial period ends or my paid pass expires when my Pokémon are still deposited in Pokémon Bank? Will my Pokémon be lost?

More details about how this functionality will operate will be announced closer to launch.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

So I was Amie-ing my Inkay. He loves everywhere except for the tips of his blue tentacles, and the "fins" at the top of his head.
Evolving... Malamar hates the tips of his tentacle hair.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Perhaps not confirmed, but come on, deleting stored Pokemon cause the fee wasn't paid would be the biggest of dick moves. I could be wrong, but since I'm sure Nintendo doesn't want to deal with people raging that their Pokemon uploaded to the servers were deleted because they couldn't pay (this also applies to those uploaded during the free trial), they'll just prevent you from accessing them. They'll be there, safe and sound, but you won't be able to access them, I'm sure.

Nintendo understands how important our Pokemon are to us, and the Bank was developed after market research into what people wanted for Pokemon storage.  Fees would go into general maintenance of the server and protection of your Pokemon.  You're paying a really paltry amount for secure storage for up to 3,000 Pokemon.  Honestly, I think five bucks a year is just fine a price.

It's cheaper than what I pay per year for my Barnes & Noble membership.  Guess how much per year that is?  $25.  I pay that without bitching.  If you have a bookstore membership that you pay for, then don't [sonic slicer] about the Bank fee.

Christ, it's cheap as hell for secure Pokemon storage.

Arikado

I thought it was going to be more than five dollars a year, to be honest.
