Anyway.....

Has anyone counted the number of times you're supposed to encounter the legendary birds? Trying to see if mine retreats to the cave. It keeps retreating to other routs. I try to stay in one or two areas that are fast for me to skate, or run to. I think I'm up to its 5th or 6th encounter at this point. Is it 10, or 15 encounters? or does it depend on the type of bird and its current location?

Is it based on a system where if I make too many mistakes, I have to start back at encountered it 0 times? I just don't want to feel like I'm encountering it too many times, only to find out it'll never escape to the island.

I guess all I can really say is it isn't exactly what I'd expect out of a $4.4M game

It doesn't even have mouth animations

Ten times, if I recall.  I think I'm on my... seventh?  I haven't been keeping track.  Sometimes, I find Zapdos hiding out in the same damn field a few times in a row.

If you're unsure, just make repeated trips to the island cave and check.

As for the Master Ball... Force of habit.

"Oh, hi Mewtwo."

*throws Master Ball*

"...We really need to stop meeting like this."

It's 11 times. And the counter never goes down.

What happens in Vegas stays on Youtube. I also stream on Twitch from time to time.

N-Mario

Ah okay. 11 times? I lost count around 6 or 8 or something. Though 10 sounds about where I think I was, when it finally retreated into the cave.

Anyway, If I recall, some mega stones you need 1,000,000 to buy. Not in the Prof. Lab, but there was another guy willing to sell me a mega stone for that amount when I talked to him at the time I didn't have that much. Is this a waste of money or what? Anyway, I finally have that amount saved up, but I donno if I want to spend it. Though is there any alternatives besides wasting 10,000, or 1,000,000 of your money? I think there is only like 2 or 4 mega stones that cost this much, if I recall. When I checked, the Blasnoisenite was that much, since I started with Froakie, and started with Charmander. So the other mega stones for the starters I assume are going to be expensive.

Quickman

Do more stuff in Lumiose to knock down the price.  I got it down to $70,000, but I'm holding off until I get it lower than that.  Ride the cabs, take the Gogoat shuttle, get your Furfrou styled, work in the Hotel, go have Alexa give you directions...  The more you improve your style, the lower the price will go.

Honestly, $10,000 isn't a lot.  Particularly with the surplus of money you get if you grind in the Battle Chateau and other battles.  I have nearing $600,000 currently.

Dr. Wily II

I'm nearing $5 million... And I already bought the 2 trenchcoats. 8D

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Protoman Blues

You make so much money while training in Le Wow!

Dr. Wily II

Well, my game team is now fully Lvl100s. And Aile has all 30 ribbons in the ST minigame. :3
Training up a Bagon now, since I initially wanted one in my team. Max att, training up spd now.
Maybe will train an Inkay too.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

You're welcome!  8D

Quickman

I need to Friend Safari and find shinies.  Got my Hawluchas in the daycare for Masuda Method shiny breeding.  One of them is Korean.

As for buying trench coats, I'm waiting until I'm over $600,000 until I buy the black trench coat.  That's the only one I want.  Until then, it's back to hotel work and grinding.  I prefer the battle Chateau, as I don't have to pay an entrance fee for my free money.  And I can fight Wulfric on occasion.

N-Mario

Just throwing this out there. But there some things I never understood about this game.

- When in Poke-Amie, Froakie, Frogadier, Greninja have their eyes like (- __ -) like their closed. But if they are in battle, they are fully open, like (o __ o). All their official artwork pics their eyes are open, but only in Poke-Amie, they look closed.
- Feeding a pokepuff to a freakin sword (Honedge, Doublade). Poke Logic. You can't feed anything to Shedinja, so I don't see why they could do this for the swords too. But I guess for the reason you can do this with Sedinja is being an empty shell ghost type. But still, freakin logic.
- As for the upcoming bank, I don't understand why we're going to have to pay an annual fee for a service we're going to use for the rest of our lives. We are already paying for the internet, and the wi-fi we use to go online isn't always free. In some areas there is free wi-fi, but I doubt that for our own home. The reason they give for the fee on their website is just kinda bull.

Protoman Blues

....it's $5 a year....

Five

I cannot stress that number enough.
