Oh man.
I read this story about this guy who had this childhood friend who caught a Shiny Absol in Gen III, and then was shortly diagnosed with a terminal illness. Before he passed away he gave the guy the Absol, who is now working on transferring it up through the Generations until he hits Gen VI.. Shiny Mega Absol. Shiny Mega Absol has angel wings.
So much feels.

Damn what a story. O^O

That Absol, regardless if it's just game data, is a true testament of friendship and sentimental value and it carries the spirit of his friend. Especially Absol's Mega Form being angelic in appearance... quite poetic actually.

So a random Japanese passerby traded me a Lv. 30 Forrtress for my SPEED BOOST BLAJERKIN Torchic. Not sure what his intentions were. I'll keep him in Acquaintances anyways just in case.

Just a random thought, but am I the only one who loves modern pattern Vivillon? I see more art of meadow pattern vivillon and less art of any other patterns. Maybe because the Meadow one was drawn first, and is the default pattern in the games memory? I kind of see that one as more feminine, due to the colors. Though the red and the blue is a bit more appealing to me. But I guess I'm not surprised, since pokemon originated in Japan, and you get this pattern via JPN area. Makes sense. In any case, I think it's the cutest butterfly I've ever caught in a game. ^_^

Another thing. I like listening to route 15/16/snow mountain pass music. Makes me feel like I want to go on an epic adventure with a strong companion. Just want to fly around the planet looking for a fight. My god, his game has some amazing sound track!

Inverse battles sure are a headache, to reverse all that you know and hold dear.
Still thrashed Inver into a puddle and claim prize x3.

So is it better to breed two Dittos together to get a Ditto with 6 perfect IVs then with the Nature I have?
Quote from: VirusChris on November 15, 2013, 07:22:29 AM
Wait... you can't breed two Dittos to get another Ditto?
Quote from: VirusChris on November 15, 2013, 07:24:34 AM
Why not? Is there any way to get a Ditto offspring? Never tried to get one before, but that seems strange.

So that blue pentagon that's next to your Pokemon's markings is an indicator that your Pokemon is not hacked, if it was hacked it wouldn't be there.

It's good to know, especially with the convenience of Wonder Trades and GTS.

That's why it's important to look things up before hand, I always do and that's what we most of the time do when people ask questions.

I just find it odd you can't get Ditto Offsprings... why is that? Makes me wonder where Dittos come from really.

Anyway how do you know if you've collected ALL of the O-Powers from Mr. Bond and how close you are to the next level of your O-Power? Serebii doesn't seem to have a section for it.

EDIT: Nevermind... found it. Wish it were easier to spot them.

Because Ditto is Genderless. It's the same reason you cannot breed any legendaries.

My personal theory is because of it's genderless nature and ability to transform into anything which screws up it's DNA.  I also believe in the theory that Dittos are failed results of trying to clone Mew since they weight the same, have the same color scheme as Mew even when shiny, and Mew is the only Pokemon besides Ditto that can Transform, not even a Smeargle can copy Transform with Sketch can do this.

Even Sketch can't copy Transform? Interesting, I didn't know that.

Also what type of clothing should I wear at the Lost Hotel as I can get by that Punk? Hard to explore the rest of the Place to find a Rotom.

And how do you keep track of how many times you've the O-Powers?

And about the Restaurant like Le Wow, they say it's best to eat their course AFTER said turns... does that mean I have to wait it out or is completing the battles BEFORE net me more Mushrooms? I've noticed I've gotten either 18 or 20 Balm Mushrooms depending on the turns I used which kinda confuses me, especially what they say.

EDIT: Oh... wait AFTER the turns. Sheesh.

That's a huge misconception.

In order to get past the guard in the Lost Hotel you have to learn all the roller skate tricks.  There are 4 skates spread through Luminose, talk to all of them and then talk to the punk and he'll let you pass.

Clothes and Lumiose Style have absolutely nothing to do with this.

Wow! That's a big misconception indeed! Well I got at least 2 of the Tricks down, 2 more to go. Thanks for clearing that up.

didn't i

didn't i already explain that?
Quote from: Mirby on November 14, 2013, 06:45:30 PM
If that's the Lost Hotel (between Laverre and Dendemille) then you need to find the 4 Skaters in Lumiose and learn the tricks they teach, then return. That place has nothing to do with clothes, it's to learn the final special trick.

owait i did

So, I'm in Couriway town, and talked to the professor. He said he had something hidden in that town. Do I need to look outside for it, or is it something inside one of the buildings? Or is he just referring to a special item that the player can find with the drowsing machine thing?

Pyro

Go to the train station and search around the second bench.
Come and read some Thoughts of a Platypus

N-Mario

I think I did search up there. Is it that same area where that woman gives you u-turn or whatever it was? Am I suppose to meet the prof. again and give it to him, or does he suppose the player uses it?
