So I was playing around with  breeding with Gibble and Ditto(has perfect HP and Speed IV). When I went to the guy who checks IV's for Ditto he said it had HP and Speed, I placed Ditto w/ Destiny Knot to it and Gibble w/ Everstone to it and got a few eggs. After hatching a few I went to check the IV's. For some he said HP and for some he said Speed. Despite he only mentions one of em for each does it mean I got both HP and Speed since Ditto had D.Knot or just the one IV the guy said?

EDIT: Am going to switch out a Gibble for one that has perfect Speed and see from there...

Anyone tried catching a shiny Mewtwo in this game? I know the odds are really rare, but just wondering.


Also, is it just me, or is Mewtwo's in-game model slightly different than his introduction appearance when you first meet him in the Mystery Cave? Maybe it's the head shape, or maybe it's just the camera angle that makes it look different.  Though his intro animation scene looks better than his in game model if the case is that they are different.

So I mashed B after nabbing a Haunter on GTS and it wouldn't stop evolving...  Kinda needed it to stay a Haunter for another trade.  Ah well.

Any particular reason why Vivillon has different wing designs? I know they're country/area specific evolutions, but are there any gameplay differences? And how do I know which ones it'll evolve in to? Do you get the specific wing design after you travel with it, and it evolves in the area you are currently standing on? Or does the specific wing design evolve from where you originally captured it from?

It evolves from the country or state it was originally captured in but there are no difference stat wise.

It is based on the country you set in your 3DS, and you can only get one pattern in the whole game.
