I'm pretty sure Tanngrisnir isn't 3 hearts or more, and he still got the boosted experience as well.

Mirby

Well I read it was 3 hearts, in my experience it started happening between 2 and 3.

I'd need to check that level, but I'm not sure how.

I also need to switch Flamin' Yawn out and get to know the rest of my team.

Check the Pokemon Amie stats there.

Looks like I'll be giving some love to the rest of my team tomorrow!

Mirby

My entire team is currently at 5 hearts. I made sure of that before challenging the Elite 4, just to maximize the benefits.

Also, be careful when petting your Pokemon. You might accidentally punch them in the face or something.

Then again, some Pokemon don't seem to mind. I once punched Sharptooth the Tyrantrum in the face three times in a row on accident, but he didn't seem too angry about it. I think he knew it wasn't on purpose lol

I was just telling that exact thing to someone else! XD

But yeah, I plan to be extra careful with him and handle him with kid gloves.  Lots and lots and lots of belly rubs.

Mirby

NCL is aware of the bug.

Do not save in the blue areas.

Also apparently they'll try to prep a fix ASAP.

AKA save inside buildings. Like inside the Pokemon Center.

I'm watching you all. Always watching.

Quickman

I always save in a Pokemon Center.

And when my Pikachu and Plusle had a baby, the guy at the daycare said that they weren't getting along at all.  Then, I come back, and they had a baby.  So, they had hate sex.

Yeah Pokemon breeding is weird at times sometimes even when they do like each other they take longer to produce a egg than a pair that don't like each other and the latter does it really fast.

"fine, we'll [tornado fang], just get me out of here" - pokemon couples who hate each other

Sounds about right. XD

Hm, when you see other people's Pokemon in Pokemon-amie, is there any way to interact with them?

Mirby

You can see their names, but aside from that it's more like they hang out, chat amongst themselves, then leave a gift.

You can leave Pokepuffs and they'll eat it but that's about it.

Quickman

I should leave a puff for them, then.

And I must be sick when I feel too lousy to play.

I do hope I start feeling better soon.  I have gyms to conquer.

I would have said that Normal Types are the masochists since they have no resistances.
Current playthrough: Chrono Trigger and God Eater Ressurection

Protoman Blues

Nah. Normal types are the types to just sit back and let the other types do all the work.

Hypershell

Those Fairy Gym trainers should be ashamed of themselves.  Grimlock (my Tyrantrum, Rock/Dragon) took the entire gym almost single-handedly, requiring a switch-out only against Valerie's Sylveon.

Still I don't see the logic of how Electric type Pokemon are Masochists.
