I like Tanngrisnir a lot too. Thus far, a very good Grass Pokemon. Plus he looks awesome. I'll say this, I like a lot of the Pokemon designs in this game. Now I just need to find the Move Deleter so that I can remove all the HMs from Blaziken...even though I'm probably just going to breed a new Torchic, since I cannot rename this one.

Anyway is there a way to pick your Kanto Starter and reset to get the desired Nature for them without having to re-fight the Professor again and again?

If Nature is a concern, I would catch a boatload of Ditto once you get to the Pokemon Village, and keep that Everstone handy.  I admit, it is tempting to try and get a player-vs-player-suitable 'man right off the bat when it comes to your starters, but odds being what they are you'll likely find yourself settling for a "decent" Nature rather than the ideal one.

...speaking of breeding, just GTSed a FEMALE Tyrunt.  I think it's time to get started, especially since I could use a non-Electric 'man that resists Electric attacks.  After that, on to my fifth badge.

Mine was Docile too. The Lucario I got wound up being Hasty, which I'm fine with. But ahhhh Lapras, or as it's known by it's other name, Drago-Kryptonite!

I haven't monitored my natures, I simply don't really mind since I doubt I'll be doing much in the postgame outside of catching Pokemon.

About to boot up and rearrange my team, putting Pavorotti in front, St. Elmo second, Flamin' Yawn third, dumping Thumper the Steelix into the PC, and sticking Runaway in her place for some GRINDING.  Flamin' Yawn held his own as the sole Psychic type, but damn does Mega Alakazam look cool, so Runaway needs some training.

Caught the Snorlax in one Great Ball and named it Bread for some reason, I'm just glad I decided not to buy more than 4 Great Balls for it, I didn't want to have a money drain early in the game.

I like how they gave a chance to get Snorlax so early in the game.

He wasn't hard to catch at all either. But I think it would've been nice to have the Apricot Balls back again.
