Red/Black, Blue/Black, and Pink/White.

I've been eyeing the XL, but... damn that purple is gorgeous! Although how it looks in actual light and not on a picture by Nintendo I don't know. I mean, my first DS was pink and it looked pearl-ish on the box but it's actually dull. =/

Anyway, perusing Serebii.net, I came across an interesting post. It seems that the choices for the Legendaries designs may have some basis to Norse mythology. Some of the animals that are said to reside in the tree Yggdrasil: an unnamed eagle, the stags Dáinn, Dvalinn, Duneyrr and Duraþrór, and the great wyrm, Níðhöggr. So if this theory is correct, Pokemon Z could be the wyrm.

Interesting note: since one of the cities seems to be based on Paris, could the region be partially based on Normandy? I bring this up because Norsemen (AKA Vikings) settled the region in the 9th century IRL.

It seems to have a nod to France, or at least one location being a nod to Paris. I also read that there could be a possibility of customizing your trainer. That scene in the trailer with the male trainer looking in a full length mirror is making people think that. It wouldn't be the first time they had it, I think Battle Revolution did it before. It would be a wonderful thing especially with Wi-Fi connections to others. Everyone won't look the same or generic schoolkid, lass, hiker, ranger, etc.

How well do they match to the image on the box? My first DS I brought the pink one because the image made it look pearlescent. When I opened it, it was very dull and unimpressive.

Even if it was only outfit changes I would love it. But I'd be especially love a chance to change eyes, skin tone, hair colors and styles. X3 It will be amazing.

Touko's my favorite because of that Giant Ponytail and dem Jean Shorts. But I like May as well because Bike shorts and Leaf because Leaf is simply cute.

Never cared for Dawn though.
