I feel it captures the emotion of the situation of the English version, from Pikachu's perspective. He doesn't want to fight his clone because he knows that it wouldn't accomplish anything other than beating the crap out of each other.

Can't say much for the anime. I dropped it at Gen 4.

But jeez. A new Pokemon generation already? I guess it's finally time to give in and download the Gen 5 games. Here I was hoping to hold out until I could get ahold of legitimate copies so I could play with my friends who love rubbing their copies of B&W2 in my face.

How soon can you transfer from another game to it? If I get it, I wanna use it to raise some older Mon, like a couple Strike Force EON members.

From Black and White its just normal old trading, so as you soon as you unlock trading which is the first or second town.

You have to reach the Poke Transfer Lab.

I think its in the same place it was in in Black/White. So you have to beat the game before you can, since that's when you get the National Dex.

What if I transfer from SoulSilver/Diamond to my original Black & White, and then transfer from Black and White to Black and White 2? Could I avoid beating the game then?

Like I said Black/White to Black 2/White 2 is just ordinary trading, so if the Gen 4 Pokemon are on BW then yes.

Yes.

Only reason you can't do the Diamond/SoulSilver directly to Black 2 is because of the Generational gap. Transferring from BW to BW2 will work though.

Edit: Ninja'd.

Of course if you really wanted to you could transfer them from Gen 3 to Gen 4, then from Gen 4 to Gen 5.

Can't wait until Gen 6 allows people to transfer from Gen 5, making the GBA games still the most feasible way of obtaining Hoenn pokemon.

First gym can be a [sonic slicer] if you don't grind the hell out of whatever pokemon you catch at the start.

They decided to make it the Normal Gym. So what you really want to do is get a Fighting type. Thankfully there are Riolu in the wild shortly after you start the game.

Second gym is too hard for me at the moment, I have to grind some more because my Beldum is [tornado fang]ing terrible.

Riolu doesn't really help unless you want to grind until level 15 or so, that's when he learns his first really Fighting move.
