My niece heard me talk to my Pokemon, and so did Ringman.  But, he now talks to his Chesnaught.  He is one of us.

Well not like that, I mean I'll say good job if they do something good in battle and feel really bad when they faint and stuff like that.  I'm talking about the way the wife did that while she was cuddling her husband, that's what I find creepy.

When I play with mine, I greet them and tell them they did good in battle.  If they had a bad battle, I'll tell them that it's okay and that they did their best and sometimes bad battles happen. 

Ringman has small talk with his Chesnaught, far as I know.

I loved talking to my Zoroark because of that funny doggy smile he'd make.

I'm only kidding. I root them on like a good trainer should. Haha, you should've seen me in the PAX Pokemon League, which I'm really looking forward to doing again. That was a lot of fun.

I cheer mine on in battle as well.  Particularly when I'm using Nasty Plotting sweepers and they have to take some hits.

That you do, and someday I really need to write those stories to supplement the characters of Sakura, Zeta, Borock-bot and other characters.  At least Mana-Verse lets me explore the powers Sakura's bloodline has and the benefits of knowing how they work since her father is alive.  With Wilypocaylse I'll write how those powers freak her out since she doesn't know what they are and uses them unintentionally.

And Ringman's preferred Amie game?  Tile Puzzle.  Berry Picker and Head-It bore him, but he likes Tile Puzzle, as it's simple and he can play a ton of it and get decent Puffs.  I told him a few of my scores, and he plans to work toward some of them.

This may sound a bit silly, but I only just started playing Omega Ruby, even though I bought it at launch. Can't help it. Gen III has always been my least favorite. Still, I like the sneak mechanic to find special Pokemon and I'm looking forward to making a secret base.

Eh, don't feel too bad.  I only intend to start AS for the shiny Beldum, and then afterward I'm getting back to my shiny breeding in X.  I don't plan to start officially playing AS until I get that shiny.

In a really strange way, even though ORAS has new features, it feels a little bit like a downgrade from XY. It's not just the lack of trainer customization. It's the general feeling of the game. I know it's a remake, but it might be a little too faithful to the original game. The graphics are nice, but it has that old Pokemon feeling to it. Compared to the regions and stories from the past few entries, ORAS feels primitive and a bit boring. Am I alone in this?
