Is it too late for me to join the experiment?
Games I enjoy:
-Platformers [Such as Mario, Kirby, Mega Man. Ghost & Goblings (just played the SNES and Genesis games), Klonoa (didn't like the GBA games much though) and Sonic (?) (I'll admit I am not that fond of the first game, I've tried to like it, many times. But I just can't seem to like the game). Other Platformers I had or played were I-Ninja, and some early Spyro games]
-JRPGs [I'll admit I have a love/hate relationship with JRPGs, the ones I really like are the Breath of Fire series, Dragon Quest (just played VIII, IX, IV DS in that order, one or two Final Fantasy games...though I'll admit I haven't really finished any of them. Always stopped playing them in the end dungeon. Can't forget about Chrono Trigger. Also the Mario RPGs and I recently got back to playing Pokemon.]
-Action JRPGs [Tales of Symphonia, only 'Tales of' game I've ever played though. Kingdom Hearts (though I got bored of the serious after Re Chain of Memories) Vanilla ware's games, aka. Odin Sphere and Muramasa, love to get my hands on Princess...something-or-other.]
-Action [Devil May Cry 1 and 3, God of War 1 (Though I did find some of the fights a bit repetitive, good game though), Gunstar Heroes (both the original and the admittedly inferior GBA remake/sequel, Viewtiful Joe games, Ratchet and Clank (Only played the first game though, and it was lent to me by a friend), Ape Escape (just played 1 and 3), Mad World and No More Heroes]
-Action Adventure [TLoZ franchise, Beyond Good and Evil, Okami]
-Music based games [DDR, Gitaroo Man]
-Fighting [Street Fighter series, Samurai Showdown, Super Smash Bros., vs Capcom games, Soul Caliber]
-SRPGs [Fire Emblem, Disgaea and the like]
-Games whose Genre I can't quite assign [Pikmin, Drill Dozer, Punch Out games, Dragon Quest Swords, Custom Robo games, One Piece Mansion (not related in any way to the manga/anime about the wacky pirate gang whom I adore).]
Games I'm not that intrested in/weary of playing:
-Simulators [Much like the ones Flash mentioned. Sims was fun for a while but it got boring for me.]
-Sports game [Shocker, ain't it. Though I have to say, the times I did get my hands on one of these types of games, whether it was through the PS demo CD or playing multiplayer at a friends house, I was kinda enjoy it. But I was never really that interested enough to go out and buy one for myself.]
-RTS [more weary than not interested]
-FPS [same reason as sports. Or course I felt a bit bored when I played Halo 2 in one of my relatives homes. Not so much the case with CoD 4, though I was only able to play the tutorial, a bit of the first level. Most of the time was spent playing in split screen mutliplayer. Only FPS game I had bought would be Red Steel 2, which I rather enjoyed actually.]
Consoles I Have:
-Wii
-PS2
-DS
-PC [Can only play roms, and some downloadable games. Haven't really tried playing a retail PC game, though I doubt my comp will be able to play a current gen game. And I don't have the money to upgrade...heck I barely even have enough money for new games.]
