I had beaten mos tof the robot masters alreayd wtihout cheating but the [tornado fang]ing King Stages are starting ot grate me. I am beginning to understand why people get irritated the stages but I am also have trouble on the first fortress boss. Why does Japan have to be challenge gamer territory?

Blackhook

..It's not that hard...atleast you can do a few mistakes, unlike MM2

For me its just the problem of getting to King. then "SADFACE GAME OVER MUSIC" because his first segment takes too long.

EDIT: Speaking of which, I beat the King Stages Finally! Now to beat this [tornado fang]ing game once and for all!

Lol I hate King's stages. They are already annoying as Bass. Megaman though... Is just plain DS-Wall fuel.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

But 2's didn't have any stage where you had to fight an annoying tank, an even more annoying jet that is capable of destroying platforms necessary for your survival, King, and then all 3 combined. In the same stage with even more stuff in between them.

I know that at least a huge part of my hate for King's Castle comes from that single stage.

My life is currently bears and Jojos and everything is great.

2 Did have an annoying boss that could only be destroyed by one weapon though. At least all the bosses can be killed with the buster if you choose.

2 things Vix

1-You're you.

2-If it makes more sense, replace hard with annoying and not fun to do (King's Stages specifically, not the game)

;)

I kind of view MM&B in the same vein as X6; both are games that are no doubt flawed, but in the same token playing them is a guilty pleasure.  The King stages were no doubt frustrating, even moreso with the GBA's reduced visibility in some areas.  I'm pretty sure I spammed the parts system in the game to get me through that part (i.e. switching to super recover when picking up an item and them energy saver when using a weapon).

Ah, the memories...  LOOONG debate on what defines "hard" to the individual gamer, there.  Between MM9 and the Zero series, I'm well convinced of how subjective the concept of difficulty is, as well as what is and isn't "valid" in gauging it.

That, and I wonder when people will learn to take the statement of a MegaMan game being "hard" within the context of the MegaMan franchise...

Bass is the best character to play the King Stages

What stage is Bass NOT the best character to play?

Yeah, MM&B has the most blatant case of character Bias I've ever seen.  The only time Megaman has an advantage is in boss fighting, and honestly the majority of bosses are a cakewalk compared to the often-nightmarish stage designs (from Mega's point of view, anyway).

Now I wish that you could change players while playing the stage

I could do Bass for the stage and Mega Man for the Boss....

Then the game would be too easy.

Let me describe my idea of these stages in seven words:

Bass, difficult, Mega Man, horrible bloody hell.

AquaTeamV3

I kind of wish they had just mapped Bass' dashing to down+jump.  Double tapping is kinda difficult to do in a pinch.

You and me both.  That actually bugs me considerably more than the screen-size in the GBA version (and I actually like the GBA instruments better for the boss theme).

Gotham Ranger

[tornado fang]. That. Jet.

[tornado fang] everything about it. [tornado fang] it on the SNES. [tornado fang] it on the GBA. Just. [tornado fang]. It.

Otherwise, game is fun, you just get used to it.

Funny, I never had problems with the Jet when I was playing. It was mainly that damn monkey thing for me.

Hell, even DynamoMan and BurnerMan are simple enough now.

Blackhook

Jet isn't that hard...just don't shoot the blind grenades. I replayed the game today with megaman. After not playing for a while I had problems with Tenguman's (Where I died the most) stage.

I accidentally shot one or two, just didn't bother moving. Actually I was lucky enough if I was in the middle of a jump to land on a platform.  :V
