Who remembers those? They were cookie peanuts filled with peanut butter.

I remember those things from my childhood. And every time I eat a Nutterbutter Im reminded of how much of a crappier version Nutter Butters are in comparison with that old treat, which was discontinued for God knows what reason. (listed on Wikipedia as being discontinued for "being too delicious")

I miss those P.B. crisps.

Anyone else feel the same way?

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Quickman

God, those things were awesomely good.  Planters needs to bring those back.  Nothing else compares to the deliciousness of those.

Dammit, now I'm hungry.  I'm gonna go eat peanut butter from the jar with a spoon.

Acid

Don't know them.

Probably America exclusive.

Are they made of PB?

Flame

PB inside a cookie shell. XD

PB suuure tastes good. 8D

Dang. These sound good? What year were they? 'Cuz being a '96 kid, I've probably never heard of them, which I haven't.

I learned that all things explode in slowmotion if you punch them hard enough.

You may have to be on fire for that to happen, though.

CephiYumi

Those... look good o.o  I think I missed out on them but they look familiar.  I was going to say "I assume they taste like nutter butters?" but apparently they are better?  Hmmm, nutter butters are good though >w<

Quickman

They're crispier and the peanut butter was better.  They were delicious.

Hm... Wilkes-Barre, home of Planters, is only about 3 hours from me, roughly.  Who wants to join me in storming the main headquarters?

Oh [parasitic bomb].
THOSE.

I wanted those so bad when I was younger.
Too bad my folks were dirt poor that time.

They vanished around the late 90s.  Such a shame.

ZeroCracked

Ah, then I was too young to remember them. I hate my early childhood now, thanks a lot guys.

Maybe P.B. crisps were made too early?

Flame

Perhaps, Acid.
Perhaps.

Or, perhaps P.B. Crisps were discontinued too early.

Police Girl

Late 90's is when they were discontinued? Wouldn't know them then. As they were canned in probably '97 or '98, when I was still a wee lad.

This gives me a wonderful idea, Perhaps we can shift this topic into a topic of Discontinued food (or drink) items we miss?

CephiYumi

In the late 90's I was in my late teens

*sigh* ^^;

Flame

In the late 90's I was in 3rd-4th grade. I really only ate them a few times, sadly. I recall them being either expensive, or elusive. I know my mom would buy them occasionally, and store the package out of my reach. XD When she brought them out, we ALL dug in.

Actually, Kallen, that's not a bad idea.
