no playable roll, i can already preditc it  ;O;

You can dress up Megaman like Roll, but it'll technically be a trap, but neither have anything that matters anyway, so you can throw panties and a dress on a skin-tone Megaman with long blonde hair and nothing of value would be lost.

[spoiler]PS: Except your pride.[/spoiler]

Something I certainly will do.

I like your "Hey listen" quotes. [parasitic bomb]'s golden.

And I was expecting to be killed in my sleep instead of complimented on it.

I approve of this idea.

The customization and level design does look good.

Graphics still look like [parasitic bomb], though. Come on, Capcom...

...if you LIKE shitty graphics or have some kind of fetish with it, that's fine by me. Good graphics mean GOOD GRAPHICS, not "every game needs to be in 3D", I do mean that the graphics of the game itself  look bad, the game looks ugly, the textures are [parasitic bomb], and honestly, lots of other people have been complaining about it.

So yes, good graphics, such as good sound, good gameplay and good replay factor are important for a game's quality. Any game.

While I will admit that good graphics are nice to have in a game, they're not necessary. It's up to the developers to determine how they want the graphics. We get what we get. Personally, I don't care for graphics. So many people [sonic slicer]ed about Wind Waker's graphics, yet it's regarded as one of the best Zelda games nonetheless.

Yes they ARE. See, Wind Waker's graphics are [tornado fang]ing beautiful! Wind Waker is one of the games I know with the best and most timeless graphics of all time.

Jesus Christ, I just explained what good graphics are. They don't mean REALISM, they mean BEAUTY. Games which have graphics far from realistic can be absolutely gorgeous. But ugly games are always ugly. This is what I mean. Not detailed graphics, but GOOD ones. A good-looking game.

Just because games with good graphics and bad gameplay are bad, doesn't mean that a game with good game play and bad graphics is good. Good graphics are good, good gameplay is good. From what we've seen, gameplay looks solid. It should not make us bad people to want graphics that match the gameplay's quality.

tl;dr
Graphics: Don't need to be good, but a game with bad graphics for no reason is unacceptable.

Waifu

Heh Heh, I am liking this game already.  [eyebrow] Seriously, I hope this universe game plays as well as it sounds.

Turian

I think I get what you mean SB. For instance, 8-bit graphics are NOT bad. However, if MM9 and 10 had looked like the original donkey kong, that would have been bad.
IMO Mega man Universe needs some AA and a few more polys to be considered a game with good graphics.

Yes they do. They need to be good. Graphics need to be good because a game needs to look good. The visual aspect is half of the whole experience. Not just the gameplay, but what you SEE.

Let me give you a good example of an ugly game.

This is Bruce Lee: Quest of the Dragon. It's an XBox game. It's [tornado fang]ing UGLY. It has bad graphics.

This is Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3. It's a Game Boy 8-bit black-and-white game. It has awesome graphics.

Everyone, get it through your thick [tornado fang]ing heads once and for all. Good graphics are NOT ABOUT TECHNOLOGY. They are about A GAME LOOKING GOOD. A game could have the most detailed graphics ever and still be [tornado fang]ing ugly, because it has bad graphics. It's not about technology, it's about if it looks good or not. And half of the experience is about the game looking good. The other half is playing well.

Actually, the entire experience, and the only experience that matters, is about whether you enjoy the game or not, regardless of how good or how bad it looks or how well it plays or doesn't play. It's the same with movies or music.

Superbat gets a standing ovation from me personally because he's one of the first people in a long time that knows there is a difference between graphics (technologically) and graphics (aesthetic).

The way you just made this extremely contrasting comparison (because of an XBox game with shitty graphics and a Game Boy game with above-par graphics) between these two games just blew me away. You win an internet- no, a HUNDRED internets.

Personal taste and quality are two different things.

A person can have Big Rigs and Daikatana as his favorite games of all time, in which he or she had the best game experience ever.

Quality is based on graphical beauty, intuitive controls, level design, replay value, if the game has bugs or crashes or other things... Not really on taste.

Although yes, beauty IS subjective, but it's still not hard to measure in terms of gameplay graphics.

Acid

So basically we're back to/down to  "I think it's ugly" and "who cares"
