I'M THE GOD DAMNED ZERO!

QuoteIn defiance to Capcom's "limited to no camera" policy, Destructoid's Jonathan Holmes managed to record a good chunk of Mega Man Universe gameplay directly from the game's booth at TGS, capturing the footage via a hidden camera in his shirt pocket. The resulting video isn't too bad -- shaky, yes, but it shows off quite a bit of stuff... stuff were weren't intended to see.
My interest has been re sparked somewhat. The graphics do look much better.

Gameplay does look fun. lol at how he thought Roll was some sort of Cut-woman. But thats  forgivable, given that scissor like bow.

also, "Kawaii" TGS girl is kawaii indeed.

speaking of which- does anyone else want her shirt?

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Oooh, I'm intrigued. Music is good too, even though it was barely audible.

And yes, I want that shirt.

Also, a bolt was seen in the Easy Mode stage, which means there's a shop!

So, looks like Japan's getting a little more DLC of their favorite mascot, whatever that thing is. Interestingly enough, it's now officially confirmed that we aren't just limited to megaman parts, but be able to make our own characters that we want to play with. Well supposedly from what we know so far and this. ;)

Protoman Blues

That's pretty awesome actually. The DLC for this game should be insane! XD

TheOnly

Wait, wut? Ppl thought that it was limited to just MegaMan parts?....

Capcom should just make the game FULLY customizeable. From parts, to being able to upload your face with the XBL Camera, to being able to listen to your own music in levels, to DLC packs of a few more hundred parts or so...

Turian

This was some BS:

Akiko Ito: As you may or may not know, Mega Man isn't selling as well as we would like overseas. It is selling very well in Japan, though. We're not focused on one territory anymore with Mega Man Universe.

Really? This is true? I have been given the impression that the exact opposite was true. Mega Man ZX sold way more copies overseas than in Japan. And I could swear that Mega Man 9 and 10 sold through the roof in the states. I think she way have her numbers mixed up. Or maybe I am wrong in my assumptions? I mean, she does work for Capcom.. Then again so does Wes, and he doesn't even know that the cute girl is Roll. ::Rolls eyes::

Third Party Chaarcters?

Why do i have the feeling that is going to be a one trick pony like Brawl was  -AC

haha! what BS!
For the longest time, Capcom only cared about Japanese sales, and While the games sold very well over here, they sold poorly in Japan, which was at the time, more interested with Pokemon. (which is why games like Battle Network and Star Force did well there, they are of the same RPG collect em all type) ZX sold well because it was innovative, introducing the Metroidvania interconnected map style. ZXA did not sell that well over there. So we never got a ZX3.

Suuure. Go ahead Cappy. Put the blame on the foreigners.

theres a reason why recently Capcom has started to care about overseas sales with games like Universe, which is even using the overrseas name.
Because they realized that otherwise, megaman would not survive if they only looked at japan sales.

Solution: make Mega Man for PS3 and Japan only.

Then we can import,

That is a load [sonic slicer], doesn't Capcom know they have a base outside japan?
