The programming part of the robotics team (which I am looking into joining, mind you) don't actually know of any games outside of League of Legends.

They don't even know what DOTA is.

Though the back in my day moment I had was the one guy who didn't like Megaman but we all know that's just me being butthurt.

Really, back in my day swag was cool.

What the hell happened?  In my day, teachers were supposed to teach the students.  Now all it is is teaching to the test.  The damn PSSA tests rule the education system and no one actually learns anything.  It's memorization of niggly things in order to pass a damn test.
My god you're right... :o

Back in my day, I didn't have a care in the world.  Now, I worry about everything. :\

Back in my day, I....unfortunately wasn't scared to eat gum from the floor.  Figured it was one way to save my mom her dollars on buying me gum....

Back in my day, half the fun of making arts & crafts was peeling off the dried glue from your fingers.

Back in my day, we actually understood the concept of experimenting to solve puzzles in video games.

(this is in response to those people getting stuck on Super Metroid, with the one notable comment of "y cant metroid crawl")

Back in my day, just because a song was popular, doesn't mean it was appropriate to put on a KidzBop CD.

And don't get me started on that crap them young'uns call "music" nowadays!

back in my day, games didn't need to run at 60fps. and we were perfectly fine with that.

Um... Both NES and SNES ran at a solid 60fps all the time when it didn't encounter slowdown...

I've actually taught my eyes to recognize different framerates from 10 to 60. After 60 I'm pretty [tornado fang]'d but what even runs at 60 anyways >0<

Back in my day, I could procrastinate on my schoolwork at home. Now I actually have to go to the school to procrastinate.
