Back in my day, pirating copying movies was a day-long, special operation.
VCR -> TV -> VCR, everything carefully put together (short cables) and immobilized with heavy things. Then you press PLAY on the first remote, and PLAY & RECORD on the second one at the very same time, and go out of the room, so one of VCRs won't eat your precious tape. 2 hours later you're done, and you can try with the next movie.

ViperAcidZX

Why, back in MY day, Tom and Jerry. 'Nuff said.

Back in my day we used to have tape rewinders, because they weren't available in old VHS models...

But we had one when we got a new VHS..

Back in my day, cartoons were actually hand-drawn, frame by frame, by animators using a lightbox and celluloid film!  None of this here fancy-schmancy Flash animation or CGI, where they got this here new-fangled contraption that fills in the extra animation between each key frame.

Back in my day, content wasn't determined by overprotective soccer moms complaining.

Back in my day, kids could play competitive sports at a young age without some concerned parent worrying that losing would be detrimental to a child's ego, and instead would rather eliminate the concept of winning and losing and raise emotionally-maladjusted kids.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Back in my day, kids weren't protected in hand sanitizer and cushioned playgrounds.  We played in the muck and mire, scaled metal jungle gyms on blacktop, fell off of high swings and merry-go-rounds, and ended our recess covered in dirt and with bruises and skinned knees!

And we liked it!

Shinigami No Tekken

Back in my day, kids rode bikes that were THEIR SIZE. And when they wore belts, IT WAS SO THEY COULD KEEP THEIR PANTS UP, NOT SAG THEM. And skeletons weren't as popular and stuff. ._.

I am too young to be saying these things.

Back in my day, vampires burst into flames when in the sun.
