I myself dont mind the bangs. I just think she looks better without those two things she used to have on the side of her head

You mean the Double Bun or Pigtail Buns (aka odango hairstyle, which is a type of Japanese dumplings(dango) shape)?

Well yeah... I decided to see what she looks like without them and she does look 10x better without! So far Chris' trident hair-style poses some problems like he his hair should look like in a front-view (might as well just tilt the hair in one direction) and I'm trying a different way of drawing his hair (which looks rather odd).

The top right one is the one I did drawing his hair different which looks rather odd.

Then the one below it, is his standard hair I usually draw (but made his hair length shorter) and I added a few extra details with the hair. Made his eyes more serious in this drawing.

And the last one is the bottom right one to show a front-view of his hair which is strange.
Bare in mind that I've always pictured Chris with a young (childish) face to make him look younger than he seems.

You know as much as I like the trident-style I'm thinking of using the spiky frosted-tip hairstyle instead. Then again I did design that particular hairstyle for different series that Chris appears in.

Hmm. I personally like the top left one. Its a good start, as the spikes are not exactly continued from the rest of his head. Also, hey, your call. I DO like the frosted tip downwards hair.

Hm, perhaps combine the top-left image with the middle image. I like how the spikes aren't just a continuation of his head, but they seem rather large. That's almost a whole other head size there.

Alright, I'll work from there and see what I can get. Also the hair was intended to be long/big, but I guess I can try to tone it down a bit.

it can be big, as long as its well defined and does not look awkward. (as the back of his head in relation seems to look.) try a realistic approach to his hair first maybe, then work up from that and see how you can stylize it more.

I don't mind his hairstyle that Ace did (though he looks like a human version of Silver the Hedgehog a bit there), but Chris' hairstyle always has his three spikes forward in my mind. I'll try various hairstyles for experiments, but I'm still going to use his trident hairstyle going forward not combed.
