Hoo boy, time to play catch-up.
If Inafune is completely in charge, expect evolution along the lines of no charge, and no slide. His big thing about Megaman is simple gameplay, thus we got Megaman 9.
Sometimes I hate it when you're right...
HOPEFULLY, the no charge/no slide thing will at least be contained in the NES style. I mean, in all titles, they have acknowledged the other abilities, merely diminished them. I'd just like to see them in without having to swallow double damage.
For that matter, I wouldn't mind seeing ProtoMan with an upgrade to restore the "ultimate buster" status he enjoyed in PU (could do without the boss-flinching, though, since that renders specials obsolete).
Well the creator of a series/franchise is not always right.
We're supposed to gather meaningful insight from the one fanbase that hates its own source more than the Sonic fanbase does?
Seriously, if you want to speak of "the creator is not always right", you don't need to look outside of Inafune. Just look at X5: Leaving others to "finish" (I use that term *VERY* loosely, X6 or no X6) your current story without you just so you can abandon it in favor of a spinoff. A spinoff which discards a great deal of signature elements, I might add.
What a tease you are, Inafune.
So true, but I'm still hoping for L3. I'm also hoping it doesn't let Picard force me to play in HD.
Well I like that his real name is Rock, and that when he Strong Sense of Justice'd, he became MegaMan!
As do I.
Also like to activate the R.O.C.K. System via ROCK ON! to become a MegaMan (it may not be in any text script but it is what the U.S. ZX wound up with vocally).

X's perfect virus countermeasures validates X's creation paragraph, whereas Zero's turning good and Omega's imperfect virus countermeasures effectively validates the entire section from Zero's creation to his turning good, albeit not every detail-
Sound logic, but I reject your premise. I cannot agree with your examining conceptual validity based on paragraph spacing rather than on a point-by-point basis. It's senseless. Line spacing establishes related information but says nothing as to how, and therefore, in and of itself does not establish any dependency.
That I'm speculating is exactly the point; just as you are. Because, there are several details mentioned by Aizu not in Three Keys.
I'll grant you that both viewpoints are technically possible. But as a matter of likelihood, I'm citing the parallels in what is directly stated, while you're citing discrepancies with what is at best loosely implied. We're both on a limb, but I do think yours is further out.
Concept is not a static thing; it evolves over time.
My point. 3 Keys is concept. Concept, as it evolves over time, cannot be treated as a singular whole with regards to its validity the way that a canonical source can. That any portion, be it 30% or less, was altered does not invalidate the rest. That any portion, be it 70% or more, was confirmed does not confirm the rest.
Though the disclaimer exists, but there's nothing at current that outright denies any aspect of Three Keys
"Not denied" does not equal "confirmed" however, thus the disclaimer remains in effect and should be reiterated when offering the Three Keys as a source.
Three Keys still contains information which has not been verified, including the transfer of negative Sigma Virus properties and their role in the creation of Dark Elf. The sole cross-reference to those points is Aizu's interview quote regarding the "original" details of the Dark Elf's origins as having changed, and while the implication of additional information may be gathered from that quote, no such additional information is directly stated. Make of that what you will.[/spoiler]
