Depending on how you look at it, that might be a good thing; That way, the Original MM fan game scene will be able to flourish and evolve!

Myself, I think that they're using MM10 as a spiritual stopping point for the series, whatwith the MMX in-jokes/references involved.

Besides, it's good to quit while you're ahead, before the series reaches the unlucky number 13 (unlike Final Fantasy )

Fan games are a hell of a lot more creative that Capcom is willing to be with Megaman, but Id still rather see CAPCOM man up and try something new that will make me go "wow".
