Fun topic idea IMO. Make a mosaic with the games that you loved best: http://bighugelabs.com/mosaic.php

Here be my bestest, most favorite games in DA WHOLE WIDE WORLD. Agree? Y/N.

ViperAcidZX

Yes. Yes. And more Yes.

Now here's mine (its a huge mosaic):

ViperAcidZX's taste in video games are good:

  • Strongly Agree
  • Agree
  • Disagree
  • Strongly Disagree

Bueno Excelente

That's a pretty good selection. Specially with some gems which aren't usually talked about. I would have liked to see less games of the same franchise and a bit more western stuff, though.

Now, you guys mind if I paste my Playfire favorite games profile here? Can't find good scans of some covers.

Acid

Well so far everyone in this thread has decent to great taste.

CephiYumi

My mosaic thing would be way too big so I'll jus save time and jus say I have horrible taste, also you can see most of my games on Backloggery anyway o.o

i can already rate your taste

ViperAcidZX

Alright, here's my new one, although I'm going by system for a bit until I can get the other games out the way first. You can still refer to my first set some of the other games I've played

[spoiler=Xbox and Xbox 360 (retail) - 04/11/13]

Notes:

  • BioShock and BioShock 2 came from BioShock: Ultimate Rapture Edition.
  • Half-Life 2 and it's follow-ups, Team Fortress 2, and Portal came from The Orange Box.
  • Although you can't see it, my copy of Otomedious Excellent is the Special Edition.
  • Technically El Shaddai: Ascension of the Metatron was downloaded from Xbox LIVE through Games on Demand, but since it was already a retail game to be begin with...
  • I have the North American version of Senko no Ronde. The reason I'm showing the Japanese box art is because the U.S. box give's the impression that it's just robots duking it out and not the Toward the Terra-esque story. Plus Mika's B.O.S.S. are not some kind of spaceship as the U.S. box portray it as.

More will be added...

Okay. Good.
>No tales of vesperia

STRONGLY DISAGREE

All-in-all though I do have to say Strongly Agree. New Vegas is great, you have Orange Box, Skyrim, overall pretty good taste.
Nobody ever rated mine. D:

My brother actually has Vesperia and for a time before I got my own 360 I was playing, but I have no idea what he did with it now. I'm not even sure if he still has it or not. I still want to add Fallout 3 and BioShock Infinite into my collection when it comes to Western-developed (retail) games.
I'll be pissed if he sold before coming to me and give it to me so I could play it (along with Enchanted Arms, Sonic 2006 despite how much I hate that technically flawed pile of crap, among others), though at the time his old Xbox 360 died, I was still with only a Wii.

I do have to say I like what you're showing although there's some games I haven't played before like Conker's Bad Fur Day and Okami (although I heard they're great), games like Dishonored and Aundra that I'm pretty much new to. I really liked Summon Nights although I never finished while emulating before, to me the combat system was pretty much Tales of Phantasia's GBA combat system should of been -- COMPLETELY controllable and none that semi-auto nonsense where the computer does half of your actions for you. When I play a Tales game, I want to be in full control of my characters. I still need to emulate DKC2 someday...

Amatiramisu

Oh yeah. Summon Knight is exactly that. I honestly haven't finished Phantasia because despite how entertaining it is, some battles are literally impossible because I can't... Wait for it... Jump.
I do use semi-auto on the (later) 3D tales titles, but that's because I can free-run to avoid [parasitic bomb].

> browsing your Backloggery
> finds Sonic the Fighters under "PC"

Am I missing something here? Because I really want to see this game on my brother's 1080p monitor. So far I'm liking the games you got. Maybe I'll make a Backloggery of my own.

It was a long time ago, but I believe it was on an emulator.

Well I do know Sonic R got an official PC port, problem is that it hates Windows 7 (and probably Vista) more than the first Virtual-ON. :| Layer Section's (RayForce) Windows 95 port doesn't give any problems at with my brother's PC since there's way it can be fixed with a third-party program and files on the disc. Despite how bad it looks running on fullscreen on very high resolution monitors, it can be remedied though with D3D Windower and playing it on windowed resolutions instead (which is good because I can play it on much higher its default 320×240 without it being filtered; would like it fullscreen though). As the unstable FPS problems people probably ran into playing Layer Section on high-end systems, since I got a legit physical copy off eBay, there's *dll files in the disc that fixes that.

Man I'm really rambling about this...

ViperAcidZX

Reviving topic again. I have a Backloggery with a catalog of games that I've played if anyone wants to browse through it.

Amatiramisu

I have a backloggery but I haven't touched it in ages lol

Archer

I don't need to see your backloggery to rate your taste, Viper.
