Thought so. Only remembered because I have the June 1995 issue of Nintendo Power. In it is a guide for Deep Space Nine - Crossroads of Time. She's mentioned in there.

I thought the new Trek was a good as a sci-fi movie, but not so much as a Trek movie.
I really didn't like what they did regarding the re-designs, the plot seemed more like bad-guy of the week and there was a serious lack of techno-babble.
Though the casting was excellent, especially regarding Simon Pegg as Scotty and Karl Urban as Bones.
My favorite part was the end titles music.

I dunno why. I just did not like DS9 as much. haha... I cant even recall why.

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Well, the early episodes of DS9, I'd say about the first 2-3 seasons, weren't really that good at all.  However, when it picked up, I thought it was one of the best series ever.

Just watched Angel and Demon. Well, I like it. Full of suspense from the quarter beginning till end.
I love the novel, so I guess I'm a bit biased.  XD

A bit disappointed though, they took out the coolest ambigram of all... and I think they change some of the detail. (like every novel adaptation movies)

See, that's probably why I gave up on DS9. I never really got to the good stuff, I suppose. As for Voyager... well, it wasn't the best of series, but it did have it's moments. It wasn't great, but I don't think it was all that horrible.

DS9 was prolly my favourite Trek series.

Anywho, I saw Star Trek today.  I enjoyed it.  Simon Pegg and Karl Urban did indeed steal the show.  It was funny, action-packed, definetly worth the $8.50 ticket price to go see it.  The movie had its problems, such as the lack of pseudo-science technobabble, time-travel, and of course the CGI still being inferior to using models, but I enjoyed the movie.

Seriously, watch Seasons 3/4-7.  It's among the best Trek ever.

Oh? All I know is that I can't wait to watch it...
And an optimal time to watch...

Posted on: May 17, 2009, 09:36:36
And that time is NOW! XD
Well, watched Angels and Demons.
The first 3/4 of the movie was faithful to the novel (to the best of my memory), but yeah... They took the the coolest ambigram... (ME WANNA SEE THE ILLUMINATI DIAMOND :W).
And I think the encounter with the assassin was changed as well.
Though, I was impressed with the anti-matter explosion... bVd
I'm watching you all. Always watching.

I watched Reefer Madness: The Movie Musical. The brownie part is my favorite.
"And the bestest part of all, is I don't have to share." >0<

Oh, and I saw the Tell Your Children version from 1936. It was good too. ^^;

I just got home from seeing Pixar's new movie UP.  I mean, I go into pretty much everything Pixar movie expecting excellence, and I still come out blown away by their movies.  UP was another masterpiece of a film from Pixar.

I saw Star Trek Generations two days ago, and W. last night. They were both good... I was expecting W. to be more satirical though... Thats how the Commercials painted it out. But it was good none the less. Its AMAZING how well Josh Brollin did the role. Scary almost. And maybe tommorrow Ill watch Wall.E
