Quickman

A couple days ago, I finally popped in and watched Justice League: The New Frontier.  Quite good, though I wasn't too keen on the animation style.  It's like it was trying to be the usual Paul Dini style, mixed with Ben 10, which didn't really work well.  They should have just stuck with the BtAS style they usually use.  Ah well...

I should pick up the comic it was based off of...

Flok

I watched Dead Man's Shoes. A very good revenge flick. The ending was quite powerful too.
Flok's favorites:

Sniper X

Now, I've watched The Chronicles of Narnia: Prince Caspian. Why not stay in Narnia than go back to school?

Protoman Blues

Holy crap.  Two days ago, my friends and I bought tickets for Watchmen IMAX on 10PM on Friday, March 6th.  Two days ago.  Today, those tickets are already sold out.  God Damn.

Police Girl

I saw Yes Man a week or two ago, It was funny, my mom didn't really like it (The Romance and the fact that she never really liked Jim Carrey's work.) But that doesn't matter as long as I liked it. :P

Shiki Tohno

I got to see Yes Man on saturday, went out with the girls from jap class.

When I got home, my family was all worried and stuff because my face was horribly red and I had two huge tears hanging from my eyes. And my stomach hurt.

I've never laughed so much and so [tornado fang]ing hard in a long, LONG time. :D

Heh...they're making a Johnny Quest movie...

Classic murder!

... Anyway, I came back from watching Coraline, well, experiences are diffrent, I can see I never wore those silly glasses.  :P

But the experience was rather decent, as well as that one "9" trailer. Maybe Tim Burton himself got a hold of Little Big Planet. Some of the scenes were good, of course, that cat was the unlikely victim to be thrown at to a weird-looking spider-thing. I liked that part a little more than the others. of course, cats are the new ragdolls for me now.

One mention of LEGENDS and everyone goes batshit.  :\

Yep, every time when someone mentions that game people get energized for an apparent reason whatsoever. It's like this everywhere else, trust me.

It got really messy to find my sprite and comic topic, so it's in my sig.

Just saw Hancock recently ( my brother made me).  It's ok, not bad, but not great either, and like PB and others, I prefer the first half till' they introduced the 'love' story of sorts in, but around the end, it wasn't bad, but I guess when it comes to plots like that, I prefer them as side stories rather than the main plot, but ah well.

Added: Just came back and FINALLY saw Coraline.  Very sweet and interesting movie and the stop motion animation is beautiful and I ended liking Coraline's character quite alot, hahaha.  It's a good movie that definitely did not left me bored AT ALL, I want to see it again~ or read the novel...

Yeah, I've known about it for a little bit.  I'm skeptical that they can do a decent GL movie, but we'll see.

Heh...they're making a Johnny Quest movie...

Oh god, not Zac Efron... This is gonna be a disgrace to the entire series.

I would prefer it to be animated, and feature the guys who do the Scooby Doo DTV movies for the animation, just with much better quality.

Sooooooooo...

I just read that not only are they remaking Total Recall, which [tornado fang]ing sickens me because it obviously won't have Arnold, therefore it will suck, but NOW they're actually going to remake The Neverending Story.  Oh man, Hollywood...why...

Quickman

Add the Witch Mountain remake to the list and it's time to just go on an extermination spree in Hollywood.

Then burn it to the ground.

you mean Hanna/Barbra?

Actually I meant Warner Bros. Animation, since H/B has been out of business since it became CN studios.

Now, I have to say all of these remakes are starting to [acid burst] me off, along with the classic "Revivals" (Im looking at the rodents and the flying dog right now...)

Crimson Lightning

i miss Hanna/Barbra they had great cartoons :'(

Flame

I wonder when Hollywood is going to start making ORIGINAL movies again? everything is a remake of a remake now. >_>;

...When Larry the reploid accountant goes maverick of his own accord, he's certainly formidable during tax season, but he isn't going to provide X the challenge needed to make him grow as a warrior and reach his potential.

Quickman

Until Hollywood decides to quit remaking stuff and go back to having original ideas (or at least til A Princess of Mars comes out), I'll be content to have my full-cast audio shows.  My imagination supplies the best special effects.  No crappy-crap CG here!

Flame

Playing with my Megaman figures is better than some of the movies they come out with now. I mean, come on, a NEW friday the 13'th? a brand new remake? seriously... the other one wasnt THAT old was it?

The Drunken Dishwasher

Keep forgetting to post about this movie.

animation lovers, I 110% RECCOMEND Felidae, great animated movie from Germany based on a German novel of the same name.  In fact, Youtube has the whole movie, so check it out and enjoy it  :D

Quickman

Oh, while it wasn't necessarily a movie, I did go to see a performance of Gilbert and Sullivan's The Pirates of Penzance at the Majestic last Saturday.  It was funny and worth the almost $60 ticket price.  The choreography was great, the costumes were fantastic, the acting was good and the sets were nice.  The actor who played Frederic didn't project very well, so he was a bit hard to hear, but overall the performance was good.

It was a refreshing change of pace, and good to see some larger productions come to Gettysburg.

Shiki Tohno

I jizzed in my pants watching this.

I dare you to tell me it's not jizz-worthy.

Protoman Blues

Oh, I saw that trailer last night at Midnight Watchmen.  It was [tornado fang]ing incredible.  So was the new Terminator trailer as well.

Speaking of which, I'm going to save my Watchmen review till after I see it again tonight in IMAX.  I'll just tell you that I did like it very very much.

Acrosurge

The X-Men trailer got me excited for the picture.  Lookin' good.  I could have done without the, "Oooh, shiny!"  It kind of wrecked the mood.  Bad Batman and Robin flashbacks.

I'm excited about Star Trek.  I've been a Trek fan since the early 90s and I've heard all the naysayers concerning J.J. Abrams's film.  I could care less about what the fanboys/girls have to say.  I'm looking forward to the ride.

If you haven't seen the trailers, please pick your flavor:

1) Trailer 2

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=or37rMhDMNw

2) Trailer 3

My sister and I are planning to watch the Trek movies one-per-weekend leading up to Abrams's Star Trek on opening night.  Methinks it will be one to see in IMAX.   :)

Enjoy life,
