And I loved EVERY single moment of it~ 8D

Such a fun and fast-paced game, and no slow-down in sight.

Yeah, I can't deny that it's really fun. $5 well spent.

You'd think the first stage would be sweet on you, but nope, every stage is batshit insane. XD

In a game like that, slowdown doesn't really bother me.

i wish these kind of games had more slow down so i can actually get beat the game, luckily Gradius 3 on Snes had plenty for me to actually beat the game  >U<

On the subject of Gradius, when will we get more games like Gradius V(Simultaneous Multiplayer)? And what about a new Parodius?

I decided to start up my old Chrono Trigger New Game Plus file for the hell of it, it appears that I was in the Fiend Lords castle last.

So I just finally realized BitComet can be used as a download client, which means through the client, direct downloads (as in, not torrent downloads) can be interrupted. Since the biggest problem with emulation for me was the fact that I couldn't interrupt direct downloads and I couldn't find good torrents, this find has resulted in a HUGE Sony Emulation stint for me. So yeah. I'm still playing AC3 but now I've booted up Dolphin, ePSXe, and PCSX2 and I'm playing:

Tales of Eternia (Destiny II)
Tales of Legendia
Tales of the Abyss
Ar Tonelico: Melody of Elemia
Shadow of the Colossus
Super Mario Sunshine
Shadow The Hedgehog (This one is mostly because a friend likes it. I don't know why he likes it. But he likes it. I guess I'll play it too, even if it's horrid. I haven't played a shitty game in a while.)

ViperAcidZX

DuckTales: Remastered (Xbox 360)
DAMMIT! I was so, so very close to beating it on Extreme and thanks that forsaken final stretch at the end, hours of memorization and careful pogo-jumping gone to waste. Every time I try to climb up it's either a) my controller's D-pad that makes me miss the jump and I fall to my death, or b) the lava catches up to me while I desperately try to perfectly execute a pogo-jump. Ugh! o//////o

-EDIT-
This pretty much describes how I feel about losing at the end in Extreme...

Other than that, I had great time with this remake. Even though I did saw entire the game through Vixy's livestream at Twitch, I still had fun with the game (granted I couldn't memorize all the secrets at the first, but think by now after hours of playing this I got most of it memorized). The remastered version of original game's music is nice, the game looks great and it feels like the TV series, controls are tight and responsive (though I wish I had a better controller), and the voice-acting is nothing short of top-notch. Well worth the $15.

Replaying some classic Sega games.

E-SWAT
I think this game is pretty cool. It doesn't have the most smooth controls or a great soundtrack, but the gameplay is well done. In this game, you're an average cop who becomes this ridiculous death machine (clearly not a RoboCop rip-off). When you're in "cop form", which is only for the first couple stages, you only have a pew pew pistol. But when you get the SWAT suit, the game suddenly turns into Contra. The level design is creative enough, you end up using all your tools in the most puzzle-y ways.

Shinobi III
I'm still amazed at how everything in this game is useful. There isn't a single move that isn't part of the strategy. Great music and level design too. Probably my favorite Genesis game along with S3&K.

Dynamite Headdy
This is one of the few games that I don't mind sucking at. Still, like most 16-bit Sega games, I really wish Dynamite Headdy was a bit more forgiving with the continues. The game is almost ALL boss fights, meaning you spend like 90% of the run memorizing patterns. I don't mind that in games that I play over and over, or that are more forgiving with the checkpoints, like Mega Man. But in this case, I know I'll forget a bunch of boss patterns in a couple months, and one attempt won't be enough. Took me 2 tries, the first one ending right after Twin Freaks.

ViperAcidZX

Just beaten DuckTales: Remastered on Extreme! It was quite a rush finally beating this game on the hardest diffuculty. All that was going on my mind was: "YES! YES! YES! YES! YES!" Unlocked everything in the gallery too! Now if you'll excuse me, I got dinner waitin' and gotta play some Beat Hazard to some Machinae Supremacy afterwards! 8)

Well I guess it's a good thing I didn't fall for that. 8D

I cannot speak to Steam Edition's connectivity yet, however. It will probably be very shaky if it's indeed via Steam servers like they say. 8U

I waited an hour to be summoned as Old Monk in Demon's Souls today, finally got it and... the guy died before entering the boss room. XD At least his death still counted as a victory for me and I got the head wrap.

I'm in NG+15 now. This game is too addictive.

Still playing Ascendancy, like always. Even with the AI patch, I'm still able to dominate. But at least the AI has ways of pissing me off.

Fear me.

Suppercut got me Counter-Strike Source. So yeah. CSS, Metastrike, and TTT.

I also finally decided to get back to playing Minecraft. The seed I entered got me a pretty sick world. Primarily jungle, but with mountain and snow forest biomes right next to it. Plus I spawned directly next to a stronghold. So I'm just right now building up a treehouse complex. I've got about four or five trees connected so now I'm just gathering resources to start building out.

How in the [tornado fang] are you supposed to beat the Sanctuary level without Super Missiles?  >_<

Can't believe I've never played this or Ages before.

I'm playing through Metroid: Other M again. I just picked it up recently and gave it a quick run through to get up to speed, and for all the grief people give it, it's managed to captivate me to go for that 100% run. I genuinely loved it. I also believe it had a more than decent story, better dialog and voice acting would have done it better justice, however. I did find it to have a decent metroid feel, and I rather accept it as Super Metroid's sequel. I'll put it above any of the primes in a heartbeat. This should be expanded. Since metroid (save for the prime trilogy which kinda chills out doing its own thing... Over and over and over) seems to have been on a cycle of exploration and linear titles since its inception, expand the world, offer more freedom, bring new power ups to bring the pain, and fight those slimy Feds.
